Tyranicus, who has just discovered the splendor of Final Fantasy 3j, recently posted this picture of a party inspired by Dikiyoba's script:

IMAGE(http://www.shadowvale.net/chats/spidweb-ff3.jpg)

Last year I made a Jewel of Arabia party based on the Planeteers (you start with a monkey, so it was asking for it):

IMAGE(http://home.uchicago.edu/~tbennett/planeteers.gif)

So, here's a contest: take a screenshot of the most amusing / appropriate RPG party you can come up with. It can be Spidweb-themed, or not, and it can be a SW game, or not.

The winner, determined by me, wins his or her choice of the following lovely prizes graciously donated by members in the chat room:
-- being a moderator*
-- instant, painful death
-- the Balms of Inanity and Death
-- a copy of Carmageddon (PC, Win95 only)
-- a copy of Spectre VR on a floppy disk
-- nothing

*note: moderatorship will be granted on one message board, not necessarily this one

I once made a party on A3 comprising entirely of characters from Zeta Gundam, if that counts. I have to find the save though.

I'm tempted to compete for this prize, but I have nothing to offer. :(

I'm going to up the ante on the Carmageddon donation. I have two original copies of the game, so you can play networked. The downside is you have to provide me with your home address.

:)

I would trust me.

Edit - I'll also need picture ID (scanned is okay) since this game is rated Mature 17+ (animated blood, gore, violence; strong language)

Why would you make someone go through the effort of scanning a photo ID and replacing the photo? As long as you're not going to get honesty, it might as well be lazy dishonesty.

Heck, they could just do something like this (simple Google image search), and you'd never know the difference:

...wait, maybe you would. :)

Then again, risking Guantanamo simply to play a rated video game sounds inadvisable.

But now it's tiny.

EDIT: And I see you in the Edited line. Perhaps I have leet anti-stealth edit powers.

It's a thumbnail - the link to the full-size image is over it.

I didn't know Imageshack worked that way, but I figured it out from the ".th.png" ending.

Edit: This is the confusion that results when two people are posting and editing at the same time. :P

Here's three.

Standard party theme

White Square No. 3

I'm quite proud of this one.

Dikiyoba is competing for a new, non-obscene, acceptable name variation instead.

Okay, I fixed it. At least Slartucker is used to bad graphics. I was tempted to use the dog from his comics. There is a dog NPC graphic I could substitute for a PC graphic. Maybe I should change it again. Hmm.

Dikiyoba is amusing Dikiyoba's self way too much with these stupid pictures.

I also have a party with PCs named McCartney, Harrison, Starr, Lennon, Epstein, and Martin, but this party is better designed.

A little off topic, but WtS and ADoS, what scenarios are you playing in these photos?

A scenario I made in which I prepare my parties for other scenarios. That is the inn/tavern. It also has an artifact hall where I store artifacts I pick up during my adventures, a training hall where I get my newly created parties up to the level I want them at, equipment chests, a library that currently serves only to contain someone to identify and buy my items, and a park. Once I polish it up I might release it, but that probably won't be for a while.

Updated, because...

...it's funnier when Slartucker's a dog.

Dikiyoba is done now. Really.

The dog is great.

Slartucker thinks Dikiyoba should try one using the S vs. D versions of Dikiyoba, Ephesos, and Arancaytar, too.

Please ignore the stats. This is just a cut and paste to show what it could be... but it's really my god party in disguise.
