Now that Thuryl is gone, as many people have become aware, there is an open moderating spot in General, one that may or may not have to be filled. I think that electing another trustworthy moderator to compliment Alo and Imban's efforts would be a productive thing for the boards. Are we going to have another election? A pick by the admin? Thuryl was never a moderator of general, there have always been three moderators. Recent posting capacity has led to the need for an appointment of the fourth. And if it does come down to it, they'll probably take all the candidates, drop them into a gladiatorial arena for an extended deathmatch, then elect one of the people smart enough to stay out of said deathmatch.
