Yes, why limit your games to such a tiny screen... I don't see why anyone with a laptop would need such a gadget. Or heck, anyone with a computer.

You don't have access to the Internet when you're in the subway... Well, in Toronto you don't.

I have to imagine that the laptop and PSP constituencies have little overlap. They're aimed at completely different consumers (and children of consumers).

Why would you need Internet access in a subway? Just curious.

It's not about needing, he probably just wants to. It's understandable; I, for one, know that when you have to ride the Subway for hours, it tends to get a bit boring. Internet, in this case, would be very helpful. Anyhow, we don't have access to the Internet when we're in the subway in NY either. However, if you live in NY you probably shouldn't be using your laptop while in the subway. To stay on topic, I don't owe a PSP, mostly because I'm not going to waste 300 bucks on something I'll barely use. And if I really want to play a game so bad (which I haven't in years) I just play it on my regular PS.

I try to steal wifi when I'm on public transit. It makes the ride less boring. After all, some of our buses here have desks.

And I want a PSP so that I can game in the subway. Chances are, you don't even have room to sit down, so yea

Too bad I'm nowhere close to being able to afford one -_-;;

I don't have one, but there no reason why people shouldn't. After all, some games only run on PSP. :P

Just kidding. Computer games are 1000 times better.

Computer games outdo their games in quantity as well as quality and adimittidly theres gotta be a lot of good ones, but compared to a computer they are nothing.

Really???. I don't play many computer games, or games overall. But the PS and XBOX console have a fairly good amount of games, and I guess I haven't gotten used to use the keyboard entirely, because I sure as hell prefer to use a Controller over a keyboard.

Edit: Kingy, you see.. I have this thing... called ... umm... BEING POOR, so yeah that doesn't work for me. Besides, that will give my lil brother yet another excuse to use the computer and that's not a good thing.

You can allways buy a gamepad for your pc.

Edit: Gamepad = $20, cord to link PS2 controller to pc = $10. You don't need to be rich. At all.

So everybody agrees that a PSP is useless when one has a computer. I wonder how the millions of people who do bought one think about this.

The price actually came down.PSPs are now $250 instead of the $350.Outrageous when you can buy a new computer for that price and it will do alot more.

I suppose it would be good for little kids to have on car trips. Or anythnig like that.

My PS2 is broken, so when I get an urge to play a console game, I play the PS1.

The exact same thing has happened to me. I have to send my PS2 half way up the island to get it fixed as well.

WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT OBSOLETE TECHNOLOGY?
You, I , everyone knows that the PSP was obsolete from the day it hit the shelves. The technology is outdated, and not to mention, it is compatable virtually nothing else... All it is, is rich people trying to get richer...
On the other hand, the commercials rock.

Hold on; aren't those those commercials where people are dancing around crazily? Or maybe the one where they toss the game device around town to a bunch of different people.

No, they're the commercials with such wonderfully interesting quips as "It's like cheese you can listen to outside!"

Somebody must've put a chimp in charge of PSP marketing. They achieved notoriety, that's for sure... but at the expense of their dignity. I agree that the commercials are clinically stupid.
