Which only means that there's another candidate to make it to Postland while avoiding Drakey. ;) This thousand, however, was much quicker than the last thousand, taking me only 107 days to accomplish, where the first thousand was three hundred-some. There should be a record book on this sort of thing. Now that Drakey has decided that custom titles don't necessarily have to have anything to do with the people who have the titles, I suppose Ben could get a title before he can frolic. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. I'm overhauling the script and make it feed into a MySQL database rather than a text file (which will increase performance enormously I suspect). My original intent of showing people that they're posting too much crap and should watch the quality has been lost, somehow. o_O [ Monday, August 15, 2005 12:16: Message edited by: Aranfoolcaytar ] -------------------- The Encyclopaedia Ermariana <-- Now a Wiki! quote:You do have a custom title technically. But maybe not fully. However, you can get a custom title at any time, Guru or not. Aran, I should think that a database would be loads more efficient. You should also be able to incorporate a few more features in it like that. Oh, and thanks for the congrats, everyone. spy.there, I don't think I was the fastest Guru. Congratulations, Ben! You're probably closer to a custom title than you'd like anyway. —Alorael, who is both far from a custom title and assured of his position of lowest signal to noise ratio possible without a Canning. Once upon a time, I remember when Ben was starting out on these boards and I was just about to hit 1000. It's odd how my posting came to a complete standstill. Well, it would have been, if I was still here. The only "normal" title he would possibly get is Canned, so... I don't think that reaching 2000 so quickly merits congratulation, except in a few rare cases (namely Alorael's and Drakey's). I liked it more when only the deserving had exclusive titles. Welcome to the club, though, Ben, and please stay in it as long as possible. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy.
