Schizotypal: Very High
And everything else was low? I think that the test could be more accurate. the two high ratings I got were correct but some of the lows were rather doubtful(sp)

Ex-CUSE me?

I'm only a loony in the most important category (y'know, the one that involves going crazy and shooting people?)...

In my humble opinion, this test is completely untrustworthy.

Accomodating to the results of this test, I'm highly paranoid, schizoid, schizotypal, histrionic, narcassistic, avoidant and obsessive-compulsive.

How can I be histrionic when I'm avoidant and schizoid? That makes no sense at all; It is paradox.

When I read that the results of this Personality Disorder Test indicated that I was narcissistic, I fell off my chair and violently landed on the hard floor.
Since about a year, I wrestle with an inferiority complex. With every passing day, this obsession, which is deeply entrenched in my mind, gets worse.

I don't see how that relates to you not being on the list..

for some reason, up until now i've always had a high rating in the Avoidant category and moderate in Paranoid and moderate/low in everything else. now it's completely different for me.

oh, and Arenax, you don't count, never have, and never will.

Seems to be the same as the last time I took this test...but I think Dependent went up a little...but I'm not sure. I have horrible memory.

Anyway:
Paranoid: Low
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: Moderate
Antisocial: Low
Borderline: Moderate
Histrionic: Moderate
Narcissistic: Low
Avoidant: High
Dependent: High
Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate

I KNOW that Avoidant is the dominant one there.

It's simple. You want to be related to, but as a symbol; a celebrity or a case study rather than as a person. You want to come to people predefined, so that you can gain the benefits of social attention without the effort of developing your personality.

Most narcissists do feel inadequate. That's why they're so dependent on the approval of others.

*Crawls out from under bed* Oh, well that makes it much better. I'm not sure for who, but I'm glad I'm not the liar, even though I am apparently a "loony". :D

Well, your last few posts have nothing but given me more evidence of your test results being correct.

I would err on the other side with some cases and wonder if not, possibly, some people lied in order to get higher test results... this is like with the Geek test. :P

Paranoid: Low
Schizoid: High
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: High
Borderline: Moderate
Histrionic: Very High
Narcissistic: High
Avoidant: High
Dependent: Moderate
Obsessive-Compulsive: High

It's a bit different than from before... Paranoid changed from High to Low, Schzoid from Moderate to High, Borderline dropped from Very High till Moderate, opposite with Histrionic, it went from Moderate to Very High and Narcissistic rose from Moderate to High. Also Avoidant went from Very High to High and Dependent dropped to Moderate from High.
It makes sense, unfortunately. Histrionic and Narcissistic both rose.. I haven't exactly stayed quiet in some topics, like I usually would have done. Not a very good change :/

That is why I have decided to try and take a little vacation from posting in forums. At least, I won't use my actual own account. Or this one much. And no logging in at school.
This is good news, right?

I think what they're counting as personalities "disorders" are more like personality "traits." I found myself wondering how many of these behaviors are completely healthy and normal among highly intelligent people.

You make a good point. In fact, a personality disorder can only be considered a disorder if it causes significant subjective distress or interferes with daily life. The aim of therapy, typically, is to turn a personality disorder into a personality style.

I read too many psychology textbooks.
