Worst Book? I think there are only two books that I've started to read and didn't finish because they were sooooooo slow. You can't really judge a book as the worst ever if you didn't read all of it, but those two were: 1. The Silmarillion 2. Crime and Punishment Worst Song: There's so much bad music in the world today, but after thinking long and hard, I have to give this prize to: Avril Lavigne's Sk8er Boi. If you've ever listened to the nonsensical drivel she sings and compared it to what she most likely means. Oh dear. Worst Movie: I have a top 3. 1. Anaconda, which is so awful it doesn't count. 2. 8 Women, a french murder-mystery-musical, it obviously doesn't count either. 3. Sk8er boi annoyed me, but that's mostly because I'm one step from being an indie rock snob as well as a grammar pedant. There's more than one knd of indie rock poser. David, you must have found one who has either only just started, doesn't understand the concept of indie rock or horribly mispronounces 'pop-rock.' Most of those who would describe themselves as indie rock fans dislike major labels, call bands who have huge album sales 'sellouts' and in really extreme cases only listen to lawnmower sounds recorded in Dagestan or Ossetia. Hmm... well what do you call a person who listens to all the popular modern punk bands in order to be cool like all her friends, but still maintains that she is a rebel and against society? You know, the kind of person who wears a "You laugh because I'm different, I laugh because you're all the same" shirt because she saw her friends wearing it... well actually, I don't think she's actually that dumb, but you get the point.
