I'm taking a break from General; how long, I cannot tell you, because I have no idea myself. I'm leaving partially because of Geneforge 2, but not entirely. I will be back, though... don't think you've gotten rid of me or whatever... -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. OMG, Sir David. You're only leaving temporarily, and you put up a goodbye topic? That's what I call tasteless. Bye bye. I always felt neutral towards you, which is more than I can say about most members here... -------------------- Aces off. Posts: 611 | Registered: Friday, January 3 2003 08:00 |

have fun, Dave! and Rose, why can't you just hate him? -------------------- Urban wisdom is not actual wisdom. Goodbye on General, Sir David. I'll see you elsewhere on Spiderweb, I guess... And if you meant a hiatus from all of Spiderweb, then I guess I won't see you elsewhere for a while, but after that I will. —Alorael, who won't be seeing anyone for a week, as he'll be away. So to everyone, a very brief farewell that co-opts an existing topic instead of creating a new one. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

Take your time playing through the game, Dave. The boards will be quieter and more liberal without you. -------------------- "Man hands down misery to man. It deepens like a coastal shelf. Yeah, I'm back, officially this time. Polaris is slow (but awesome) and the CoA is... um... well, Wise Man, XYZ, NaCN and Zephyr are not a good combination. So I'm back. And if the number of new members keeps increasing at this rate, I'm going to have to help natural selection speed itself up a bit. What does that mean? I get this curious picture of you stalking the boards and decapitating newbies... -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! His Flashing eyes, his Floating hair!" Indeed, http://www.webeacon.com/boards/ is somewhat slow. But it's quite a nice forum. Bye and welcome back, David. Is it just me, or would this topic have been locked on the old Misc. for being painfully obviously spammy? -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

No, it's just you. People are allowed to say goodbye when they leave, or at least they were when I left. As to the newbie decapitation... yeah, that's about it. Except that Arctic probably came back before me, so it would make no sense for me to take his place while he was gone. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance.
