Oh, c'mon. You'd rather I started another, fragmentary topic?

I'm having trouble here: I have Koerner's blade, but can't get him to notice the fact - nor does he ever ask me to fetch it. Ideas?

[If it matters, I'm rebellious and have already entered the Inner Keep - is that causing the trouble, maybe?]

{{Editied to add: even weirder, I am allowed through the main gate into the Inner Keep without difficulty..}}

Ending disappointment in Nethergate

Just finished as Celts, having previously completed as Romans.

I'm afraid that I feel hugely let down by the forced-path ending without *any* scope for actions by *either* Romans or Celts to affect it. After so much fun, interest, and thought went into the rest of the game - just feels like a cop-out at exactly the wrong time. Why the need to have an impossible goal for both parties (even, for the Romans, to the extent of alowing Sylak to take actions after death)?

Not that I'm going to affect anything - hence this rant will now be cut short - but a huge anti-climax, I'm afraid, at least for me. Feeling slightly conned :( .

Sorry - I was apparently imprecise.

'No effect' as in 'when I pile two hundred set sof bricks on one another, no magic wall appears' - nor any other effect, which was the best I could com up with as a guess (giving them to the Celts in the starting fort who talk about wall building).

Easily droppable. And I wouldn't expect that they would so totally duplicate the trash, so I assume that there is *some* use, but...

[I did enjoy playing dice in the Hollow Hills with Sylak's dice, though]

I was glad to see that as the Celts, the hags asked for something different - and I also thought it was cool to send me back to close to the start.

Sylak's bricks sure multiply fast, huh? I've tried dropping *large* stacks of the, but no effect - another trash item?

[That and the puzzle box, no big deal. But I'd like to be able to return the earrings!]

Well, whatever it is is going to have to stay lost :-( - I've spent way too much time tromping around the woods, even after getting the 'you have trod' confirmation. And I can't seem to get into that single web block... oh well.

Seemed that way, but my Celts have not yet arrived :) . Thanks.

[Current frustration: the 'walk all the paths' bit in the far SW woods. Walked paths, got 'you have trod' message but no idea how to now 'see beyond'. Argh :) ]

Am I right to conclude that the left-hand side of the HotL is unavailable to Romans?

Same location: piercing sight reveals a hiden room behind Moira, but it's apparently not possible to get behind the counter even in combat mode.

Is access possible? [If so, hint would be welcome.]

[Edit: Never mind. Yes. Just requires a slightly different application of brute force...]
