I can't seem to complete this quest. Is it because I asked Gob about Koerner's sword?

Have you obtained the Shaped Blade from Gob's back room?

Have you returned it to the big angry Guardian jerk?

No, says the servile in Medab. It belongs to the oppressed.
No, says the Shaper in Terrestia. It belongs to the Shaper Council.
No, says the Trakovite in hiding. It belongs to no-one.

I've found all the stuff Gob wants, but I haven't got the Blade yet.
I hoped I could give Gob the junk without helping Koerner, 'cause I'm a rebel.

Huh?

Gob doesn't give you the blade as a reward for giving him all that junk. He gives you a Clawbug charm.

To get the blade, you either need to grovel to Gob, or sneak into his back rooms and steal it.

However, if you are a rebel, you CAN enter Dhonal's Keep without returning the blade. A Shaper in Dhonal (southwest corner) has Rebel sympathies, and tells you about a hidden trapdoor in the northeast area to enter the Keep.

What I mean is I can't seem to give Gob the junk which I have.
I'm not interested in getting the blade for Kroener or any other Guardian, I didn't even know where the blade was until your post. I just want to be able to complete Gob's Errand Boy quest.

The items he wants are very specific. As I recall, one of them looks almost identical to another item -- maybe a teacup? Check the list against your inventory directly.

I'm having trouble here: I have Koerner's blade, but can't get him to notice the fact - nor does he ever ask me to fetch it. Ideas?

[If it matters, I'm rebellious and have already entered the Inner Keep - is that causing the trouble, maybe?]

{{Editied to add: even weirder, I am allowed through the main gate into the Inner Keep without difficulty..}}

Xel: Never make posts that only comment on thread revival. That is spam. If you must comment on the thread revival, make sure to answer the question when you do so.

(This, lacking an answer to the question, is saved from being spam only by being a rule clarification.)
