Yes. There are good reasons for joining either side. But there are equally bad reasons as well. For me, I simply do what I can to help people. And try not to slaughter too much of the "wild-life". Which is easy, if you have the difficulty level set to Easy. You get the Enemies Visiable Alert, ... but the enemies aren't so inclinded to smack at you. I just fight when necessary: assigned to get some- one. Or I'm cornered and unable to get out of it. Sometimes, my character gets "caught" on something in the area, and I can't get her to move. As far as the Dracons go, if there's a GF4, I see a lot of potential there. Those guys are dangerous. And I can see how, in their arrogance and lust for so much power, the Dragon Folk might start to see their smaller, earlier "cousins" as weak, ... perhaps unworthy. Like vermin. I wouldn't be surrpised if the Dracons turned on the Drayks. Posts: 18 | Registered: Wednesday, November 2 2005 08:00 |

Well, that's a nice idea, but wands aren't included. Just the components. On Cheating: Well, I'm sorry to admit that I am just not as good at some games as I'd like to be. I'd never get to see what happens next without some sort of 3rd-person aid. -_- [ Saturday, November 19, 2005 23:34: Message edited by: Aurora ] Posts: 18 | Registered: Wednesday, November 2 2005 08:00 |

I'm in the South Fort Kentia area. And I am using the right scale. Well, see, ... I am using the character editor to get all the best good- ies for this sort of thing. Heh. I suddenly had so much stuff that it took me three trips from in front of the school ruins to the anvil shed to get everything pit away in that locker that's there. That's where I like to stash all my extra treasures. Got some really nice enhanced items for it, too. Yes. I have made the All-Protector, and I have made spray-crystals. I've also successfully used enhancements on all of my gear that I could. I've checked, rechecked, and triple-checked what I have on the forge. I have tried combining just a couple parts at once. I have even tried testing different ingrediants, in case the above advice was a typo. I'm out of options here. Well, I followed that recipe. And nothing happens -- except that little comment below the forge that these things don't combine to make anything. What went wrong? Posts: 18 | Registered: Wednesday, November 2 2005 08:00 |

quote:LOL! "Addition". Yes, they're additive, ... like some kind of narcotic. When some character's description includes glow- ing eyes and the like, ... I think, "Ah oh. This guy/ gal is another canister junkie!" Hehehe. And anyway, ... I really prefer to level up with the character editor. Better than the canisters! Don't have to worry about getting knocked down on your tail so much in a fight and stuff. BTW, I was just wondering. Why does Litalia force the hero to kill her, regardless of your alliance? Firstly, does anyone know how many endings that this one has? I only see two possible sides here. That doesn't give us much room for many endings. Thank goodness for all the side quests. So, anyway, I have seen polls much like this in the other two GF Forums. Who do you side with -- and so forth. Personally, I tend to go with the rebel side that supports servile freedom ... and such. Right now, tho', I'm doing a playthru' with total loyalty to the Shaper Order. It feels kinda bad, of course, but I wanna see what the other ending is like. Thanks. Got plenty of them, too. Kinda hording. In the GF Series, ... you never know what's going to prove useful. EDIT: Huh? I'm trying to make a Wand of Inferno. All I got out of this was a Spray Crystal. And I already have 20 of those. [ Sunday, November 13, 2005 16:28: Message edited by: Aurora ] Posts: 18 | Registered: Wednesday, November 2 2005 08:00 |

Stick? Yes. And the Drahon scale, the wiry moss, ... and the perfect shard. I think those are what I need, but I'm not sure. Posts: 18 | Registered: Wednesday, November 2 2005 08:00 |

Altho' my movements are restricted, because I am still stuck with the demo for now, there still seems to be a lot to do. For instance, in an oblong building in the Kentia East Gate Zone, I have found something called the Forging Anvil. You can enhance weapons and armor, by putting artifacts labeled "Item Enhancement" and an object on the anvil. Right now, I am trying to get it to make a wand. I have all the ingredience, but it won't work. If anyone has gotten the chance to try this out, can anyone tell me what I'm not doing here? Posts: 18 | Registered: Wednesday, November 2 2005 08:00 |

I did, with a question about ordering all three CDs. Without having to reorder the downloadable versions. I haven't heard a peep! Posts: 18 | Registered: Wednesday, November 2 2005 08:00 |

Is there anyone here from Spiderweb Software? If there is, can anyone check and see, what happened to the e-mail I was supposed to get for buying the game? [ Saturday, November 12, 2005 16:31: Message edited by: Aurora ] Posts: 18 | Registered: Wednesday, November 2 2005 08:00 |

I think I have, but it refuses to download. I click the link for the zip file, and it gives me a blank HTML page that crashes my system if I try to open its code in a text editor. Why won't it download!? EDIT: "Save Target As" doesn't work. It just gives me a black HTML page that I cannot open even with a text editor. [ Sunday, November 06, 2005 13:13: Message edited by: Aurora ] Posts: 18 | Registered: Wednesday, November 2 2005 08:00 |

Croikle & Zeviz's Unofficial, Unsupported Editor. Luv 'em! Is there any chance that they'll be making versions for GF 2 and 3 ... as well? Or does anyone here know a hack that makes it possible for me to apply my GF 1 character to the other two? I looked at the text script for the editor, and can see some of what makes them tick. If only I knew enough about this sort of thing to be able to do something similar. I hate having to go into everything with such an underdeveloped character, after GF 1. Well, ... I was just wondering. You can conjure a rock with the cheat codes, ... so I thought that there must be something important about them. Posts: 18 | Registered: Wednesday, November 2 2005 08:00 |

You can collect rocks. Why? What are they for? They have no mentioned abilities, and they don't seem to be of use during combat. Posts: 18 | Registered: Wednesday, November 2 2005 08:00 |
