Pike / Spear / Halberd vs Sword / Dagger aka Pole vs. Melee in Avernum 4

Also, while the Jade Halberd is probably the best spear, the swords offer a far more balanced variety. I personally found the Frozen Blade's cursing to be very useful, as well as Demonslayer's plethora of defensive bonuses. And the Radiant Soulblade... heck, even the Ghostly Blade has enough ungodly defensive bonuses (+6% hostile resistance?!) to outshine the middle-of-the-road Oozing Blade.
And as opposed to the multitude of other swords? If it makes it into the top ten it beomes one of the best swords.

The fact that he spent decades making up a language to fit with a book is no different than somebody spending a few months making up a language to fit with a game.
What is so hard to beleive with Elvish is that it is seen in his books and only in his books. He made it up.

Ooooh... 21:00 on Saturday. Bad. I have school the next morning, I'd be on for an hour tops.

Sorry for being such a stick-in-the-mud, I may come if the Saturday one happens. Don't use me as a statistical figure to see weather it is worth it though.

Trying to up sales Thralni? *looks at new moniker*

Beleivable language? About as beleivable as elvish from LotR. (Not at all. Fun, yes. Beleivable, no.)

Thank you, I may not be able to change anybody's innate personality, but I can do my best to keep the temper flare cycle from continuing.

I'm not defending him, as I said, I find him childish and immiture, but if you continuiously feed his childishness and immiturity they will only grow worse, not better with time. I'm not saying people should start treating him politely in an effort that he will turn around. I'm saying that people should stop treating with him at all unless they have something of content to share. Mere bashing and flaming on both sides will lead nowhere.

All I can say is that I'm surprised at how long it takes humans to mature compared to all other animals. That goes out to all of you. Ed is still a child in all senses of the word, this isn't bad in itself, but children have different needs than adolescents who have different needs than adults. The rest of you however, are responding to him when you find him annoying instead of ignoring him, which ends up making the matter worse, making you as mature as he is, at your respective ages compared to his, I'm not yet sure if this is a compliment to him or an insult to all of you.

When in doubt look at the custom tile and/or sig. 1/2 man, 1/2 amazing. that's Salmon.

EDIT: I may as well respond to the poll:
Sandwich: Shwarma
Vacation spot: I would say Israel, except I'm already there. Hmmmmm...... The Netherlands :P
Position: Behind the microphone.
Hobby: Putting myself in needless physical danger all for the adrenaline rush.
Sport: American football / hockey.

You're not the only one, although I'm more exasperated than annoyed with him, I find no reason to hate him. This may, however stem from my unwillingness to communicate with him before now.

If you think Igod is all our fun....
Anyways, It should be banned from SW. It is pointless, annoying, and not as fun after the first time you try it

I was saying in general, I've never really found any interest in iGod, but many fun topics have gotten the axe. And it's always the mods that do it.

Change the "we" to an "I".
Leave Nikki alone, cause as far as I know, the only one here without friends is you.

Seeing as this is the first comment I have ever made to you, I will try to make this as polite as possible, as if you had a clean slate. Please grow a sense of humor.

Long hair on guys is in no way different IMHO than long hair on girls, both of which look good.

Close cropped (and especially military-style) looks disgusting.

I had gotten a different image when I first heard that. Although the movie was in russian (which I cannot understand) being translated (very briefly) for me by a friend who spoke only russian and hebrew (which at the time I barely understood).

It's a notepad file (or the mac equivelent) how can it not work?

At least, it worked for me. And then I added in a load more conversation options, added in my favorite items and fixed some bugs.
