quote:Yeeeeeeeeees, I know. That's what I'm glued to in the office for half the day. I'm just too plain lazy to look up US Dollars in the middle of the poll :) US $ cheques take approximately 4 - 5 weeks to be negotiated/collected and clear, so I don't accept them anymore. Haven't looked them up since :D -------------------- I outnumbered them one to thirty! Posts: 33 | Registered: Tuesday, September 6 2005 07:00 |

Hmmmm. I'm not sure how much or little a US $ is worth - i tend think of any "foreign" currency as Monopoly-Money... No, don't shout at me now, I know I'm ignorant. I aimed for the highest min.wages. Min.wages here are something above £5 for even the sh*ttiest of jobs, so surely $5 isn't fair...? Taxes..... oh well. No idea what you guy are doing over there or what the situation is. I used to be paid with tax money, so I'll shut up about that one :) Creationism/ID isn't that much of an issue here, I think. I follow the funny court cases, yes. But over here your parents stick you in the school of their preference. If that's a science-orientated school run by evolutionists or a catholic school run by nuns.... you get the picture. *Vote Laurana for Pope!* Edit: fixed typo (.....and fixed again!) I did, once. But I saw it as an act of charity. A friend of mine is gay and her ex-girlfriend showed up in the bar we were in and started a scene. Asking if I was "the new girl" and went all mad. My friend kept telling her I wasn't, but she wouldn't have any of it. In the end I grabbed my friend and snogged her, just to shut them up. Worked, too. Insane ex-girl stomped off and we continued having a good night out. No further mentioning of the episode. ------ PS: But other than that, no - I wouldn't :) [ Monday, October 03, 2005 13:27: Message edited by: Laurana ] -------------------- I outnumbered them one to thirty! quote:True, they don't, but you can sneak past them with a move mountains spell. That will remove the boulder next to the wall (just west of the efreeti) and you can diagonally hop through the gap behind the laser. I never found the mirror, because I was running real late with only one day left. I had the scroll for Koth (didn't get the talisman, hence the delay in the fungi cave) but absolutely no time to spare to start looking for mirrors. -------------------- I outnumbered them one to thirty! I liked it. I usually play high level and torture difficulty, but was intrigued by the vampire-thing. So I abandoned my favourite "Lets kick ass"-Party in some inn to get plastered and played it with a freshly fabricated newbie-party. Yes, I found it irritating not to have my mage wiping everything with fireballs. Yes, I had also forgotten how tedious first aid can be without healing spells. But I never had such an adept javelin thrower, and it made me appreciate my domestic Priest and her bag of spells in other scenarios much more. Up to then I just kinda saw her as a mobile medical kit that gets dragged along at the back, to patch up the rest of the party after a fight and who gets any spare items dumped in her pack. I especially liked Lucretia - I actually reloaded the game several times, just to see what she'd do if I said different things. No levels to be gained - so what? Thanks for a fun afternoon :) -------------------- I outnumbered them one to thirty! Posts: 33 | Registered: Tuesday, September 6 2005 07:00 |

a) 100 b) 0 Not out of greed tho. If I could remove 100 picked people for good forever and no one can connect it to me - Hell, I'd do it for free. There are just certain individuals I could really do without, some for the (for loss of a better phrase) greater good (surely not everyone would agree, but hey - MY choice who to pick *grin*), some for the improvement of my personal little part of the universe. On the other hand, I probably wouldn't donate the money, but keep it anyway. Business is business and money is money. -------------------- I outnumbered them one to thirty!
