well now i got the darn key so im ready to leave the crypt. its not that it's too hard, it just that there is WAY too much combat. I like more dialouge like in ASR (a small rebellion) i dont think i want to explore anymore, i just want to win. i also think i need a break from avernum...im probly burnt out.

know what? there should be a part 2 of A Small Rebellion. I loved that scenario. I dont know how it would work though, because i would make it a continuation of the rebel side =), and, it would bascially be about returning to kill Stalker, becoming leader of the Hill Runners, *winning* the rebellion, and finishing off all those empire idiots. Pretty cool huh? Only if I could make scenarios....but maybe someone else will.

well i take back what i said. now im at the spiraliing crypt (i completely skipped the Morog place, since it looked like way too much work) and I can't figure out what to do. I keep getting killed in every room. This has got to be the worst scenario for Avernum. The storyline sucks too. It's way too hard and the entire thing takes places underground. It's day 20 and im still not at the stupid fort.

Thank you for the tips. I did manage to kill the Giant Cheif. Playing this game on 'easy' is a lot more fun.

it says i only have 14 days. Does that mean I have to skip over exploring and just run to the finish so that I don't waste time? What happens if I dont get there in time? Can I go back to the Run to explore after I've delivered the package? If you can't, then this scenario stinks. Cause 14 days isn't enough time to do everything.

hehe, well I wound up joining the rebels. It was fun, but the drawback is that you can't do any mini-quests or explore since you get killed no matter where you go (by the empire)

i can't decide. I'm really angry about the way the Empire treats people in general, especially the serfs. I mean, half-starving people to death? Just so that others can be rich? Hmm..but then the Hill Runners are cruel too. But..I wish I could hear more justification for their story. I might stick with the Empire.

is there something wrong with my game?
Because Bruning just joined even though I have four members, so now I have five. and, I cant see his inventory or control him. I thought maybe he would be good at fighting but he just does nothing. I thought you were supposed to have an EMPTY slot before someone could join you.

Or is this how the game is supposed to be?
