If it had been cheaper, maybe people would be more willing to buy and then make more turnover. -------------------- À très bientôt! Goodbye fellows Posts: 20 | Registered: Saturday, September 20 2003 07:00 |

True, in France, English is not compulsory at school. But it is compulsory to learn at least 2 foreign european languages. Therefore 90% of student take English as for their first foreign language at the age of 12. The other 10% take mostly German. Whaddya think? That we French are all chauvinistic and unwilling to learn English? Sorry, it's an untruth, since 1980. (replying to what Siam Shade said) What about America and England where it is not compulsory to learn any language?!? As it has been said by other people on this topic, there are a certain number of foreigners thus demonstrating the interest of selling abroad. It might be fun to get Avernum translated into majors languages. I wonder who the foreigners who like avernum are. -------------------- À très bientôt! Indeed, selling through Internet is incredibly easy. But one rule of selling is to get being known by customers... hence a need of advertising. Unless you advertise correctly, nobody will buy your products, even if they're sold by internet. -------------------- À très bientôt! True, he was mostly fighting for civil rights and embraced slavery fight only in order to make people abroad think he was on the "right side". But the fact is that everybody now is convinced he was rebelling against slavery. -------------------- À très bientôt! Goodbye fellows Posts: 20 | Registered: Saturday, September 20 2003 07:00 |

Too late to correct it... Yes, indeed, saying "I don't care of it" was because I didn't reflected at all... If you don't think a bit, small faults grow easily. But thanks to these faults, you easily guess whether the guy speaks English as mother tongue or not -------------------- À très bientôt! Do ya think Spiderweb should try to sell abroad? For all I know, Spiderweb is currently targeting only the USA. Of all American presidents... the best renowned ones in France are without any doubt Abraham Lincoln for he fighted slavery. And Georges Washington too (even if he is less known). However, you may easily guess who is the most disparaged american president nowadays I might have to say that these recent days many newspapers have written articles against Lyndon Johnson. -------------------- À très bientôt!
