The controls should be set so the blocks move and form a vee shaped tunnel to the door to that Trogolo priest. Be sure you set the last control on the left and check the door again. I never had any trouble with it after I figured out the combination, Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

That's under the Troglo castle. ;) In the concealed tunnel, I forget exactly what you're supposed to do. Did you read the walkthrough in the forum header? -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

There is a secret passage along the south wall. The entrances are designed to prevent entrance. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Avatar and Major Blessing are both great spells. So are Kill, Divine Thud, and Death Arrows, and Firestorm. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! Plus, if you're planning to fight the golems, I recommend you equip some fire resistant, acid resistant, cold resistant and magic resistant rings and/or charms. -------------------- "I can't read this thread with that image. You can only access the northern Golem Spire by going through the Tower of Shifting Floors in the center. Good luck! —Alorael, who can no longer remember where you get Avatar. Is it part of Khoth's spell library or purchased in Gale or Moon? Can you get it from the last stone circle? Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

I know for certain you can learn it in Shayder if you join the Anama, and seem to remember you can learn a high level priest spell from a group of priests in the mountains around Sharamik (Avatar? Cloud of Blades? Divine Thud maybe?) The last stone circle is death arrows, but the other suggestions seem likely enough. -------------------- Guaranteed to blow your mind. Exile is the only game where you can equip your fighters with 2 one-handed weapons. Once hasted they give a buzz saw effect with multiple strikes per round to quickly destroy their opponents. By the end of the game they can do 6 strikes per round with all the blessings and hasting spells for ridiculous damage. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Actually, that's true for E1, E2, E3, and BoE. I know this because I've done it in all four games. :D -------------------- Either I'm crazy, or everybody else is nuts. Exile is the only series in which you can equip two weapons. —Alorael, who thinks that change was for the better. Ambidexterity is nice, but so is balance. Nobody needs a pair of flaming waveblades. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

I think the only way to learn spells from the spell books in Shayder is to join the Anama legitimately. Robbing the Anama will get you chucked from the Church if you're a member, and Shayder (and all of Bigail?) will be mad at you for the rest of the game. I always loved dual mithral broadswords on one fighter and beastslayer/alien blade/wyrmslayer on the other. Magic greatswords are very powerful also, as are dual magic waveblades. Both can be bought. If you have high assassination then dual is best since it gives you two chances to assassinate. Otherwise just use whatever has the highest damage. -------------------- Guaranteed to blow your mind. The Anama spellbooks dumbfound you if you try to read them with fake rings. You still can rob the treasury. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

And I like the grotesquely overpriced +3 in Gale. But usually I end up using plain old magic waveblades. —Alorael, who can't even remember what other enhancements are offered. There's probably defense somewhere, some +1 and +2, and other not terribly exciting things. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

The isle south of Gale has a tower at its very bottom tip. It's the Tower of Zkal, which holds the Ring of Endless Magery. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |
