Ordinary pants aren't important either way. They don't provide enough armor to justify wearing them, but they don't weigh enough to justify not wearing them. (Plus, the inns really only care about your adventurers wearing shoes and shirts. :P ) Dikiyoba's party wears them, but they also wear gold and silver jewelry before they find the enchanted stuff. That armor helps in the beginning, and I can never justify the two clicks required to takes the pants off again. —Alorael, who also wouldn't want to appear before, say, the King of Avernum or the Empress in anything less than formal attire. I think entrails are intrinsically entrails, and an extrinsic property like location can't change that. They do become outards, though. —Alorael, who found this to be even more the case in GF4 when it's not unusual to go walking around with various skins, scales, and eyeballs in your inventory.
