How hard is it to make scenarios? I have a lot of good ideas but I don't really know anything about scripting or programming, is it going to be basically beyond my abilities to do this? Some of the stuff I saw in the editor forum looked pretty complicated.

You should check out the scenario editor section of the board for this sort of question. There's lots of folks that could tell you about writing scenarios there.

All you need to make a scenario is persistance. Really. Also, it's a ton harder if you're a perfectionist. (That, of course, rules me out.) But you might as well give it a shot; even if your first doesn't turn out so good, it'll give you helpful experience for your second.
