I swear, I can remember when BoA was first released and all the little landmarks we had on this board. RoR, the hundreds of questions about ZKR, the first and only graphics competition, etc. Is this board and its extensive history over the past six years really getting purged?

It is indeed sad... but that's why we've been tirelessly bumping the more important threads that should remain here. And don't forget that it all lives on at the archive.

(I tried very hard to resist the urge to bump all the topics I started in my newb-ish days.)

Almost all of it consists of questions about how to do a scenario, scenario contests, beta calls for testing scenarios, scenario releases, and setting up Blades chats. We tried to bump the best of what remains and the rest is archived.

The purging of this board is probably the only one I'm bothered about. I've been here (or around) since when BoA was first released, and I remember people talking about conforming water being the best thing since sliced bread, and how auto-hills was such a nice idea (how wrong they were). And I mean, yay for the archives, but I'm a bit sad that all that history is just being thrown away. :/

Well, if you don't lose a little, you lose a lot.
UBB is going psychopathic/homicidal on threads.

Egad! I abhor that feature, I accidentally turn it on and I don't know what in the heck is happening.

Agreed, it can actually be very annoying... conforming terrain, also (but less often).
