(Scroll down for more details.)

I've made huge amounts of progress with my new scenario lately. If I continue to design at this rate it should be done sometime this summer. I've added some basic information and screen shots to my site. I'll probably write some more about the basic plot premise later but I have to be somewhere soon so stay tuned.

I'll also create a topic about this in the Hype Central soon. The only reason I didn't do it to begin with is that I figured the scenario would get more exposure this way and I'm pretty excited about it.

Oh, um... Vahnatai? I hoped less and less scenarios would have the Vahnatai, but oh well. I tend not to judge before I play it.

I'm curious to see more of it.

Heh, brilliant. Reminds me of many U.S. blockbuster trailers, the Recruit in particular. No need to see the real deal since you already know how it's going to end.

"Wall ogres" sounds kind of cheezy, but I like the custom graphics. Keep up the good work.

This disturbs me even more than it did this morning. All sorts of images are coming to my head, none of them good.

So yeah, Mr T (first post) has come and stated the obvious like some of you already did but hey, he's a celebrity!

There is actually some truth in here. But here are the lies:
VahnataiWall Ogres (or monster plague of any kind.)The outrageous statement that I've made any kind of progress.That I'm excited. My heart is full of blood, not emotion.Screenshots 1-3 are actually genuine except for the fact that I placed blood everywhere and damaged the walls. Oh, and the wall ogres. No wall ogres. Screenshot 4, of course, will not be seen if I ever finish the thing. I was originally planning on having the text area visible. It would have said: "Ssslimey hits Rentar-Ihrno for 225", or something. So yeah, go back to sleep.

So you mean it will really have "mega-hard combat against monsters with ridiculous amount of hitpoints"? :P
.
Edit: For some reason, UBB does not like the spacing in Dikiyoba's post.

Why not? It reminded me of Exodus. :tear:

Hey, some of my favorite scenarios have that.

That's what I thought was odd about your April Fool's joke, Smoo - if it was entirely done as a joke, you went to a good length to set it up.

Right, right. The "mega-hard combat part." Well, I'm actually going for (mega-)hard combat against monsters that are impossible to hit.

Sure. I made my Wall Ogres like this:
begindefinecreature xxx;
import = 32;
cr_name = "Wall Ogre";
cr_level = 75;
cr_hp_bonus = 500;
cr_sp_bonus = 0;
cr_ap_bonus = 1;
cr_icon_adjust = 64;
They could stand to have more hit points, though and I'm not sure what that sp_bonus is for.

Spell point bonus.

I had a feeling the screenshots were real-- the first one at least is definitely too good to make for a joke. The last one is....... well I'm just glad it's now actually confirmed that it's fake.
