I think I know what he is talking about. There was a scenario in BoE (I forgot the name) that brought in the use of "guest stars" as an easter egg type thing. I think he was wanting to know if it would be good to use it in BoA. Otherwise, I have no clue what he's talking about. A few cameos can be nice, especially if they're subtle. They're fun for board members and don't really bother non-members. IoB has so many cameos that I don't think someone who didn't know the members who appear could fully appreciate it, but you can choose your own scenario audience. —Alorael, who has similar thoughts about famous people making appearances. Alorael might be surprised. More newbies who don't know the community seem to enjoy Inn of Blades more than more experienced members. Of course, this has to do more with subject matter- Stareye's review said, and I believe that it's right on this, that Inn of Blades is large, detailed amalgam of things that everybody has seen before. (Inn of Blades in retrospect was more of a learning experience for me as a designer in comparison to a scenario that took itself seriously. Interestingly enough, some people have taken a liking to it much more than some more of my more modern works. On the right track... I was thinking about guest stars as in (work with me here) how the Scooby Doo Movies did it. They had a special guest every episode, usually movie actors, and they helped "the gang" with their antics and solving the crime. My supreme lack of memory of BOE scenarios hinders my recollection of any such instances, but I do remember trying this once in one of those too-big-to-ever-finish attempts. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! If you make it a comedy based scenario, I could see how certain guest stars could work.
