I took the liberty of converting the graphics myself and loading it to my site here. That's the Mac version. I used Graphic Adjuster to make the CMG file, and it was remarkably easy. Well done, Niemand! Thanks, Kel. :) Also, I didn't say it before, but be sure to rate this at CSR! -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Who do you need to know? *Name by Slarty Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

quote:Um, it works for me. At least in the 3D Editor.... trying it now in BoA itself... EDIT: Er, yeah. I just downloaded off of my own link, tried it in BoA, and found that it worked. What problem are you having? I downloaded it and found an empty .cmg without a resource fork. I mean, it wasn't a big deal to grab the PC version and run it through GraphicAdjuster. I'm not sure why it would do that... but I thought it was odd to find a MAC_OS_X folder in the main folder. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. Both versions are now available at the database. The cmg works fine for me, but I made a new archive just to be on the safe side. Would you suggest that my party go through this scenario? Mine hang around level 42. -------------------- I can transform into almost anything, though not sanity. Muffins n' Hell. TV has no combat, so you can do it with whatever party you want. Given the atmosphere, a low-level party may feel more appropriate, but it doesn't matter in the least. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

If fighting is your thing, don't play Twilight Valley. Or you could get back in character and try to persuade the author to re-write the scenario more to your liking. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

TV is a story. If you read the read-me file, you'll see why there is no fighting. I anticipated people moaning - and if this isn't your bag, I'm not forcing you to play it. As for begging me to change the story - it does work, to some degree. I'm taking on board comments made by Salmon to improve the scenario, but it's still going to be combat free. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? I have a problem. When I first start Twilight Valley, I recieve an "Unhandled Exception" error message and the game crashes. I really want to play this scenario but this error is preventing me from playing it. What can I do to fix this? Its hard to say - unhandled exceptions tend to be pretty untraceable... Since nobody else seems to be having this problem, all I can suggest is that you create a new party, and enter with that. It won't matter at all, plot-wise. [ Thursday, March 29, 2007 02:47: Message edited by: Karri ] -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? ;_; me too! Error! Pops up when I start the scenario. Something like «...could not find graphic sheet in line 501 ...». There is no entry pic, I can move merely very slow (almost frozen) and my party cannot leave the Valley Entrance. Like Ephesos I have an empty cmg file, but I'm not skilled enough to convert stuff from PC data. What should I do? I'm still on Mac OS 9.2 (my BoA version doesn't work on OS X) edit: Here the correct error message: «The game just failed to load this graphic: sheet 510, icon 0» I had those graphic errors several times in other scenarios, but it mostly merely meant that I didn't see some of my foes. But now this weird slowing? This sounds like it's a Mac problem, which is annoying 'cus I'm powerless to fix this. All I can suggest is redownloading and trying again. Sorry! -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Who do you need to know? *Name by Slarty Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

I tried already and re-downloaded it from Kel's and from Tyran's link - always errors. Maybe you could find somebody for a Mac transcription? It is a pity: 46% of Spiderwebbers cannot play this scenario ... -------------------- * add anything meaningful here Posts: 40 | Registered: Wednesday, June 22 2005 07:00 |
