Undead Valley has been released for Windows users. If you're on Mac all you have to do is convert the graphics files to whatever you use.

Hope you will enjoy the scenario, and forgive any small mistakes you may find (but I doubt you'll find any).

DONT FORGET: This is my FIRST scenario, so it may not be that good. Anyway, Enjoy:

Guys, if you get stuck, read the README!
It has a small FAQ walkthrough in it.

What is the level range for this?

People says Microsoft paid 14 million dollars for using the Rolling Stones song "Start me up" in their commercials. This is wrong. Microsoft paid 14 million dollars only for a part of the song. For instance, they didn't use the line "You'll make a grown man cry".

I beat it starting at level 16 in the betas, but that was abusing some fun stuff, part of which has been reduced in power.

A Pitty! I'm still waiting for scenarios to "restart" a game! I'm sick of the same scenarios for begginer parties and i also don't like to use editors so it's been a while since i played a scenario! The last one was Canopy during the beta stage! Make some scenarios for begginer parties! like an undead scenario (skelletons and zombies), a goblin scenario, dunno... i think those high levels are just awful to play! I mean... u feel invincible there is no strategy then suddenly a more strong moster appears stronger Than Dragons?!?! common get grip... :s (This is not to insult Undead valley. i haven't played it yet but don't you agree there should be more easy scenarios? and they are easier to make! i would make one but trust me I SUCK AT IT :) )

I might be working on something for lower levels, but there are no undead.

Yeah, I've got something for 20-30 in the works, with no undead at all. Maybe a shade here and there, but no zombies, ever.

How tricky would it be to do the conversions for Mac? We've got to be a pretty big part of your audience...

It's not actually possible to do the graphic conversions at all in Windows. The OS doesn't handle resource files properly.

I know, I've nearly done fixing the dialog for macs, but...

As Thuryl said, I can't convert the graphics pictures. If one of you lot can convert them into the MAC format, ZIP them, and email them to me, I can fix the dialog MAC incompatability, and it will be MAC usable.

So someone who can convert the graphics to MAC compatability, please email me!!!

Actually, if we even emailed the graphics to you, it might break them. It's better to get a Mac user to put them online for you.

Zipping the files tends to protect them, but if he opened them they would probably then be damaged. Thuryl's way really is the easiest and safest.

Well, Okay then. I've nearly finished making the dialog compatible with MAC, and then if I could email one of you the scenario, and you could replace the pictures, and email me a zip file back. I won't open it, and just put it straight up onto the Web.

So I need a volunteer

EDIT: I've made the dialogue compatible with MAC, now I need someone who I can email the files, and who will convert the graphics into a MAC format.

Some scripts still not work, Micael: e.g. the Slith Avatar in the small cave doesn't sell spells after I discovered his farm.
You released it too early ;_;

I've fixed the errors you've sent in. Anyone who downloads it now has the fixed edition. If you find anymore, it'll just be patched on.

EDIT: I'm working on the MAC Undead Valley. I just got the graphics file, so, fingers crossed, it might work. I've emailed a MAC user the download URL, and hopefully I'll know wether it works sometime tomorrow. Anyway, It's 10:30 over here, and mum's going to kill me if I stay up too late (again), so Goodnight all!

...

T_T What can I say? I downloaded the very recent version: the Slith Avatar doesn't award me for the farmhouse. Nor does Rolar-Tel for killing the torturer.
Am I the only one having these problems?
TM, you are on Mac: did the scripts work for you?

I also wasn't awarded for "discovering" the farm. I thought the human prisoner in the first tower was a bit long winded, and his statement about which direction I arrived from was very confusing. The game broke down (for me) when I landed in the underworld. I bypassed the keep and went straight to the stone circle (secret passageway) and then found my way back to the surface without communicating with any Vahnati. Needless to say, I have no clue :( why I did any of the mission, because there was no explanation. Oh well. It was certainly better than anything I may or may not be working on. :)

As you can see, I've been sorting out those dialogue errors:
