I have a fully-functioning prototype I was going to use in BoE, but nobody seems interested. So, I'm turning my attention to BoA. Send me any and all BoA graphics (bxb11@psu.edu). Please don't send me sheets, send me individual items, along with a descriptors (single words that describe the graphic). I'll start adding them as soon as I have enough to make it worthwhile. For now, go to http://www.personal.psu.edu/bxb11/boe/louvrejs/ for a demo of the system (with BoE graphics). Basic Info Needed: Your Name: Your e-mail: Graphic Name: Download Location: (If not sending directly to me) Description: Author: (If different from above) Author e-mail:(If different from above) Awards: Comments: Key Words: Words that describe the graphic that aren't covered in a major category, like monster or item. For example, a bird might have key words like fly wing beak talon feather and so on I would prefer web-ready versions of the graphics. JPG or GIF. Not BMP, TIFF, etc. I have to convert these, and that take time. Not much, but still... As for ads? Can't do it. I'm on a University server & usage policy forbids it. :( Thanks for the design offer, but I hope I have something that's easy to use. Could use a snazzy background and buttons, though.... As for ease? I think Drakefyre means there are few BoA graphics out there, making the initial DB easier to construct. :D Additional question: Do we know if Jeff is going to add back in facial picts? It seems fairly clear from Brett's first post that he wants you to email the graphics, although he later implied that links are also okay. —Alorael, who would check with Jeff about the dialogue pictures. Even if they return, they may not be exactly the same size. There's no reason they should change, but it's better to be safe than to have piles of unusable but beautiful dialogue pictures. e-mail them to me, or supply this link. Either is OK. As for a preview pic - What Drakey is talking about is, rather then show all poses of a character initially, just show one. Then if you want you can call up the enite set of poses. This will save download time initially, as the preview pict will be much smaller. Shouldn't matter really... file sizes are gunna be low anyway... graphics don't hold too much information. And sorry about that e-mail/link thing, but I was looking at some site (don't remember what it was, I thought it was your's Brett) and it said it only wanted links to the graphic. Well, VM, you could do that, or you could use iFrames for Graphics displaying. {iframe src="page.htm"}{/iframe} OR {iframe src="image.gif"}{/iframe} if you put the NAME="" property in the IFRAME, then you can have a link with a target as the iframe's name. Then, when you click on the link, the page will load in the iframe. You could also use JavaScript if you want a more data oriented system. NAME.src = "Page". - Note that the swirly brackets represent ordinary HTML brackets. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yeah, it's a shame your University has that ad policy.
