At least he's not comparing Mac and Windows.

I don't know why all you Mac users are so smug. There are NO programs available for the Mac!

For instance, the top four programs I spend my time using on my Dell have no mac equivalents:

(1) A virus scanner;
(2) Spyware scanner;
(3) An ad remover; and
(4) Disk defragger

Sheez!

They don't need them as much, mostly because Mac's aren't attacked by viruses and such as much as PC's. But it isn't our fault we get attacked, the PC is just too popular... :P

You missed the sarcasm and the fact that Zorro is a Mac user.

I guess the 'NO' should've given it away. Now if you'll excuse me I'll go lock myself in a dark room...

It's nice seeing Thufir so wonderfully out of context like this!

Dune is one of my favorite books, as well as one of my favorite movies (the David Lynch version, and not that woosy Sci-Fi Channel miniseries). I always wondered, though, why Lynch decided to give the mentats such fuzzy eyebrows... The purple lips I can understand, but eyebrows?

I have a virus scanner and a disk defragger on my Mac...

—Alorael, who doesn't have a virus remover. He's never had to worry about it.

By the way, does anyone else feel that a revival of the Galactic Core Historical Society is in order?

No. RWG is filled with posts that are somewhat relevant, if viewed at the right angle and in the right light. Let's keep it that way.

—Alorael, who would be perfectly happy to see a new Homeland board for the Homeland Historical Society. Or SubTerra could play host. Even ET, AT, or a Geneforge board! It could be like the Olympics and boards could bid!

NO! Listen not to the heathen. Embrace the unity that is the Brahman and find eternal even-mindedness!

Is Thufir Hawat ever truly out of context? I think not. Obviously, he's the reason why GC is so frickin' EZ.

I petition to move this forum right under General and title it "Miscellaneous."

Other than that, I don't see why we need to move this under SubTerra, especially considering that it's more active than SubTerra, but - *sigh* - sure, why not?
