If a mod deletes posts in a topic (like the "Around the place in however long it takes!" topic), do the people's post counts decrease if their posts were deleted?

If you make enough DELETABLE posts (i.e. worse than lockable ones) to significantly impact your post count, I'd say there's a seeeeerious problem.

But my guess is no, it doesn't affect your post count.

I agree with Vladimir Scorpius I also think it doesn't matter, your postcount in not reversable.

Edit: can you delete your own posts, and if yes how?

Yes.

Never ask for a title, Drakey will give you one you'll hate.

..and I'm speaking from experience. :P

Be happy, TGM. Your title just gives your true name and shows that you really are a veteran no matter what your post count may say. And you're a start, too!

—Alorael, who doesn't think anyone has a regrettable custom title that wasn't given in response to spamming. Well, except Djur, in a way... and maybe Schro... yes, add Saunders, too...

Saunders does not have a regrettable title! She just released GBtC #41 and 42, or some numbers around there.

From the perspective of only the first few chapters of TGbtC, it is definitely an unfortunate title. And knowing nothing at all about the story, it is a nonsensical title.

—Alorael, who feels obligated to point out that "Nuke and Pave" is also hardly complimentary, although not obviously bad, either. And Thuryl's title probably has dubious origens, but it's mainly bizarre.

I'd be happier with only the Veteran-part, that's what I've been telling you all for a while. Drakey just seems to ignore it.

it's good for you to have the title (TGM), you change names too much.

3735928559=195948557?

This makes no sense! Translated to ASCII, it says %#\U;= _^U9 which makes even less sense. HOORAY

Or, instead of translating the entire thing as one number (which was probably wrong), we can get 222 173 190 239=11 173 240 13 which is ?i??=?i??.

So, it's all greek to me.

Gack, why didn't I think of that? That would have made much more sense, especially with the sets of four and all.
