Yes. Those are all Spelling Errors. Thank you for demonstrating. Note that you have not debunked or disproven my statement that Spelling != Grammar. I don't know how many times I've used these examples: 1) One of the boys lost their leg. WRONG: It should he "his" not their, since "of" brings up a prepositional phrase, and "one" is singular. 2) Each one of the dogs deserve a cracker. WRONG: Prepositional phrase; "each one" is singular; should be "deserves". 3) If I was king, I'd grow bananas. WRONG: Subjunctive mood conjugates to "were". If I were king. See my spelling is fine in all of those, yet my grammar mistakes were obvious. SO ENOUGH!! If I were a grammar snob, I would still consider failure to use the subjunctive mood improper grammar. But if I was an ordinary person, I wouldn't really care. Most people don't use the subjunctive any more, and it's hopeless to try to revive it. —Alorael, who still uses it sometimes, mostly because it was brutally drilled into him by very scary English teachers when he was a small and easily traumatized child.
