Ah, but that relies on the assumption that they want you alive. :P Dikiyoba. -------------------- Episode 4: Spiderweb Reloaded Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

How do you know tentacles on shoes are a bad thing? At the rate they're going, I expect Nike to come out with a line of tentacle sneakers any day. Ha! Shoes that velcro themselves! Let's become even more lazy! But seriously, I think tentacled shoes won't be in fashion for at least another year or so. I still have extra ornk meat and guacamole, anybody want? -------------------- Let's all just shape gazers and hope it goes away. At least the eyes on the ends of the tentacles would stop us walking on that bit of dog dung on the pavement. -------------------- How many shapers are there? Why is Drypeak controlled by Zakary? Are these tentacles trained to pick burrs and cheatgrass out of socks? Because if they are, Dikiyoba wants a pair. -------------------- Episode 4: Spiderweb Reloaded Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Tentacles tend to react even after they are severed from the torso of a squid/octopus. Not forever, as that would be a bit too Lovecraftian, but for a while. Similarly, a severed shark head will still bite if something is placed in its mouth. Fun party trick, best demonstrated with a piece of wood that you don't need for a while. -------------------- Vogel - "10% off on all of [our] products for the month of October. ... this discount applies to games, CDs, bundles, and even already discounted products." Really, a bit of magic is all it would take to keep those tentacles active. Of course, it would make the sneakers quite expensive, but if they're fashionable enough, price won't be an object. Who cares about fashion, as long as you don't stand out a ridiculous amount. Salmon have you actually cut off a shark's head and stuck a piece of wood in it at a party? -------------------- Let's all just shape gazers and hope it goes away. Catch a shark. Buy a knife. Pick up a piece of wood. It really is pretty simple, once you figure out how to not get bit. -------------------- Vogel - "10% off on all of [our] products for the month of October. ... this discount applies to games, CDs, bundles, and even already discounted products." How would you like it if a shark cut off your head and stuffed wood in your gob to impress it's mates? Huh? Huh? :P Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

Tasty, tasty murder... I'm sure the sharks are plotting my demise. There is currently a great white hanging off the coast and it is getting a bit punchy. About a week ago it took a bit out of a seal and all they found was the head and tail. The sea lion fared better, with just a bite out of its flank. In both cases, the shark was going after meaty (delicious) fish eaters. Coincidence? I think not. -------------------- Vogel - "10% off on all of [our] products for the month of October. ... this discount applies to games, CDs, bundles, and even already discounted products."
