Originally by Actaeon: quote:Probably not to Richard White. He seems to prefer poultry over fish. "Everywhere Richard White looked Monday there were big clumps of dried, smelly chicken manure... last Thursday an 18-wheel tractor-trailer rolled over and dumped 24 tons of the stuff in his front yard... 'It was like a tsunami wave of hot chicken (manure)... They think I'm a hick and don't matter. But my life didn't smell like this before.'" Buried under more silly invective than is entirely reasonable, Dr Ray's point seems to be that in the course of one rotation of the earth each quadrant of the earth sees an entire day. So each rotation brings four days in one. If the earth did not rotate, each quadrant of the earth would forever see the same period of the day (midnight, noon, morning, evening), which together would make up only one full day. So rotation produces four days from one. So by cracky he's right. 'By cracky'? -------------------- We're not doing cool. We're doing pretty. Ugh. This Gene Ray guy's either some sort of cult leader or needs to visit a mental hospital; Maybe both. But you can see where he breaks from the ranks of the mentally sound if you look carefully. Namely, all the spots where he starts ranting that everyone is evil and will be destroyed by Cubic what-cha-call-it, or the points where he's swearing himself into incoherence and calling himself 'most cubic and wisest human'. At some points, he even contradicts himself. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Please rate these scenarios at the CSR after playing them! That guy is a lizard. A retarded, shape-shifting lizard. quote:their iz a think cald propur gramer!!! That is kind of mean, but everyone who wasn't born with proper grammar needs every bit beat into them. Anyway, so it is for adults? That is annoying. Besides, I don't click on every single link. Never know what might be on the other side. And by the way, apparently someone (who helped Sarasaphilia with his forum) is helping Fruitbat and I with Not in your shed. I have given some suggestions myself, but a few of them (which were good ones) have been turned down. It's not for adults; Starman was just calling everyone under 21 illiterate. That said, Stillness... please tell me that's a joke. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews!
