While that may be true, you of all people can't object to my deliberately taking advantage of an ambiguity, can you? :P -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. It was a deliberate ambiguity. Take advantage all you want. It's also one of my all-time favorite minor bugs. Hold down space and you attack constantly in Mantra. With a sword, that means you just hold it out. With a bow, that means you fire a solid stream of arrows. Sometimes the stream mysteriously hits the edge of the screen and kind of wraps around so the arrows reappear in a corner and head straight for you, causing you to die rapidly. Enough bugs like that, and there are plenty in Mantra 2, and you may want to shoot someone yourself. You'll certainly want to shoot someone or something. —Alorael, who probably shouldn't generalize like that. His shooting urges are well known already and apparently not common in the wider population. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

quote:Ah I see. I misunderstood then. EDIT: Oh yeah. I seem to recall that particular bug in Mantra II. This is why we do beta testing, I suppose. Didn't Jeff have some connection to Ultima, too? Wow. Thought I was the only one who played Mantra. What a pretty much useless game. :) -------------------- Frisbeetarianism is the belief that when you die, your soul goes up on the roof and gets stuck. I vaguely remember hearing (well, reading) that he was involved with one of the MechWarriors. I could easily be wrong or confusing him with someone else, though. -------------------- This legislation has far-reaching ramifistications. - Gib Lewis Posts: 1509 | Registered: Tuesday, January 10 2006 08:00 |

quote:Aww, come now. It wasn't a bad game. I thought it was fun (if short and easy). Kind of reminiscent of the old Zelda games. -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles.
