I saw 'Die Another Day' the other day. What a weird movie. As cool as Pierce Brosnan might be, the era really ended with 'Goldeneye'. Or maybe 'Tomorrow Never Dies'.

I mean, Madonna was in it. What the heck?

The only two Bond movies I ever saw. And both because they were on TV.

I tried to think of something witty to put here.

Needless to say, I failed.

I actually enjoyed 'The World is not Enough,' but I agree with you on 'Die Another Day'.

"Die Another Day" the the only Bond movie I've seen. That was some crazy stuff there. I didn't really like it. It was just silly.

'The World Is Not Enough' gets way too much airtime on the holiday Bond marathons... and it's just not that good. 'For Your Eyes Only' is just the best.

On the other hand, The World Is Not Enough has a funnier acronym.

I liked Roger Moore as the best Bond, personally. He fit the persona perfectly in my mind.

I'm a big fan of the new one and I'd also say he's much closer to the original version. Because he's played as a psychopath. I never liked Moore because it was like a spoof, whereas with this one they've essentially decided to try Dalton with decent scripts. It's much less overblown, much less cheesy and for my money much better than the recent stuff.

Much less suitable for Saturday afternoon telly than some of the others, of course, but you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.
