You can be a wanderer if you're a member. You just change the settings in your preferences. I was a wanderer for about a week before I registered while I decided whether I liked the forum and had enough time to join. No sense in joinging something if you don't like it or aren't going to be around. Maybe some of the wanderers are doing the same. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Dikiyoba wandered for a week... I wandered in and out since the creation of BOA... We didn't think of actually joining the forum until we came together to start writing scenarios. We figured that if we were going to become involved, we should get to know the community we were diving into. It's a shame that HE never visits... -------------------- The Silent Assassin is offended by that remark about never visiting and has decided to retaliate by beating me over the head with a large piece of cardboard tubing. -------------------- -Lenar Labs What's Your Destiny? Some people find the need to watch out activity through the keyhole in the door instead of actually coming in, which requires the leaving of one's sanity. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Originally by Arancaytar: quote:Lenar Labs doesn't know who I am. But I wish that his Silent Assassin would stop coming over. The assassin never says a word. It's rather creepy. Dikiyoba hasn't met anyone from these boards in real life or anywhere else but these boards, in fact. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

quote:No, the "we" is not Dikiyoba. I was referring to the Silent Assassin, who is my counterpart in the whole "Lenar Labs" thing. We are planning on co-writing a few scenarios together, if I can keep up my scripting with all of his story changes... Pardon my poor grammar. -------------------- The Silent Assassin has recently informed me that he dislikes Lon Cheney movies. I still do not quite understand the point of his saying this, as we were discussing friut jam at the time. -------------------- -Lenar Labs What's Your Destiny? Yes. Now I'm wondering who's going to be the first to change their name to Wanderer. Someone has to. If not Alorael, then who? Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Apparently Dikiyoba speaks not only for and of himself, he now speaks for everyone. Can you see the creeping megalomania? This is why only the most grounded of souls can be permitted to address themsevles in the third person. -------------------- A4 Items List A4 Singleton G4 Items List G4 Forging List G4 Insidious Infiltrator NR Items List Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |

Really? I've never seen him or her. But I have an answer now. Dikiyoba didn't even refer to Dikiyoba in third person in Dikiyoba's previous post. Edit: Sig change. [ Sunday, January 29, 2006 20:54: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Wandering's fun, and a necessary part of ones Spiderwebbing life if they are banned due to a "clerical error". I don't know why "clerical error" is in quotation marks, since it isn't actually the reason I was given. Still, it sounds cool. And such. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Who do you need to know? Posts: 2864 | Registered: Monday, September 8 2003 07:00 |

quote:Well, no. It's important to have a fair idea about enemy movements and such, especially with Stuggie and his ferrets being away for so long (they might come back at any minute...), and it's imperative that the enemy don't see who we are... so y'know, lurking is amazingly useful. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? I'm never a wanderer. I've fixed it so that I automatically log in every time I visit these forums. I don't think theres any danger of other people using my username on this computer, because my family have no interest whatsoever here, and in any case would never do such a thing. quote:I think everybody who logs out is counted as a wanderer on the front page for about half an hour. There are also many people who come here just to find answers to a couple of game-related questions. (Even my old A2 page is still getting several views a day, so I am assuming this forum is getting even more random people looking for game info.) And finally, there are plenty of old members lurking in the shadows. Like Stew Boy, I don't ever log out of my main computer since only I have typically access to it (and if it gets stolen, I have more than my login at Spiderweb Software to worry about). But I'm a wanderer occasionally before I log on and after I log off when using another computer. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
