Well, hmmm. I'm not usually a fan of locking a bunch of productive spam threads. :P Anyway, VCH, though it was quite in tune with the last post(s), it was spam in a sense, but not bad spam. Oh, and Thuryl, quit spamming to blame someone else for spamming. :P -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

I missed the election results too, so. May we have a resumé, please? -------------------- So, as the great Groxy, I have come back to be served by goblins. He must of. Yes, Thuryl is a mod, he replaced Schrodinger. Stug just missed out, he came second. The elections are also what lead to the leaving of Alec. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Polaris Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

TM's temporary ban was indirectly a result of the elections as well. -------------------- Nena Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

Oh my, I have missed a lot. Alec left, TM was banned, well actually I knew he was banned but not because of the election. So Thuryl won the election... It's so hard to keep track of people when theyz names change so frequently aii.. Not mutually exclusive, but generally Drakey won't suffer repeated violations of the CoC by the same person. Thuryl's modship has been particularly creative this month, with the names of two General forum moderators changing regularly. Perhaps next month he can pick a different theme, like Vietnam battles or British naval victories. That way he could be educational as well as dictatorial. *this message sponsored by desperence, now hosting Thuryl's resume* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Depending on the school of philosophical thought to which you subscribe, he is either a figment of your imagination, a figment of someone elses imagination, or you are a figment of his imagination. Tough to prove any of those things given the empirical data available. I'd have to venture a guess that the "Thuryl" you are thinking of is the same embodiment no matter what "name" is there. You still call him Thuryl, despite the clear evidence that he is called "Salivating Steak," or something like that. As it stands, alternate names don't seem to affect his personality, so other than for personal convenience, why do you wish for his name to be Thuryl?? Thuryl, after all, isn't even the name I was given at birth (or, indeed, the first name I used in the SW community). It's just the name I've been known by in this community for longest. :P -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Back on Aceron's board I went by a different name. That's why TM occasionally calls me LRTDeM. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

If you have a name like LRTDeM, you have every right to flaunt it. —Alorael, who doesn't, and therefore must flaunt every other name he can come up with. Provided that name fits within a space of limited characters, of course. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

Alec left after throwing a fit that he didn't win the election and then blaming all on Kel for "cheating". That said, I'll bet Thuryl will be back to a constant moniker again after he finishes out the month. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

If you do not know who the people are, check their profiles. If you want to recognise Thuryl, just look at his custom title, the one that looks like a binary number failure. -------------------- So, as the great Groxy, I have come back to be served by goblins.
