It still seems pretty slow, so here are some other suggestions to pass the time while waiting for BoA: UbiSoft is picking up some momentum on resurrecting the Heroes of Might and Magic series from the ashes of 3DO. You can read all about it here. Siege of Avalon was an enjoyable, episodic CRPG that reminds me of the SpiderWeb games somewhat. The graphics are more along the lines of Baldur's Gate however. Apparently the WWW site is down, but you can pick it up at Wal-Mart for $9.95. Another good deal at Wal-Mart for those with less-than-modern computers is the "Laptop Gaming Pack". For $19.95 or less you get: - Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri - Alien Crossifre expansion to above - SimCity 3000 - Tiger Woods Golf 2002 IMHO Alpha Centauri is one of the greatest games, if not the greatest, ever made. You are really missing something if you haven't played it. It is a story-driven, turn-based strategy game in the same lines as Civilization. It received the highest score ever awarded by PC Gamer magazine. The other games in the pack are pretty neat also, and none require a "newfangled" video card to work. Of course if you are into Rouge-likes then you simply have to try out Ancient Domains of Mystery. That one will keep you for a while. Last but not least, let me recommend giving Nethergate a re-play. I'm working my way through it again as the Celts and really enjoying it, much more so than the first time through. For some reason, perhaps because I played it after I tried Avernum, it just didn't take with me the first time around. Bork! Bork! Bork! -------------------- This space intentionally left blank. well, there's always Gunbound if you want a shooter/TBS that's similar to Worms, but multiplayer. it's free too, but it's a hefty download and chances are you won't like it unless you're Chinese/Asian origin like me. -------------------- Urban wisdom is not actual wisdom. Liero is also some worms like game, but its MUCH MUCH bloodier, and it has CRAPY design. But its rather fun. And of course, Worms 3d has come up. I Agree bout' Alpha Centauri, luuved it. Another game you should try is Giants Citizen Kabuto, thats among my three favorite games ever, and i ALLWAYS (allmost) buy games that get 80-100 in my magazines (None has got 100 yet, half-life got 96). Or you could of course try Escape Velocity Nova, the newest version of EV. -------------------- MDNZZZ ZMMMBIS WBLOONZ 33111-CRUSADER-4849 Posts: 662 | Registered: Friday, September 13 2002 07:00 |

http://cku1d19.w.interia.pl/ARAGEL166.rar my personal impression of Liero. made it myself i did. damn proud of it too. only 400 KB or so. be sure to configure the weapon options and stuff before playing. -------------------- I am pleased to make contact with your entities. Now die. The Dhabi be strange people, though there be few, Listen to me well for I was one that knew. Powerful as ally and deadly as foe, Friends be empowered and enemies be woe. Find him by the stones, warn you they might, All noble gems he will turn plain white. Be warned though, will there be more than one, The stones will shine like the morning sun. Strike him down, if that be your plan, But best think him - a living dead man. Dhabi can die, no doubt on that. Kill him yourself - die like a rat. Once assaulted, he will not forgive, Howling in hate, vengence he won't leave. Ever fighting, in lethal embrace, Such are dangers, when Dhabi you face. Want to kill him dead - you are welcome to try. Find one of his kin, or it's you who will die. Only Dhabi can kill Dhabi, none other. Reaching out he'll take the soul of his brother. Posts: 123 | Registered: Sunday, July 7 2002 07:00 |

I like Giants: Citizen Kabuto too. It's a different kind of shooter, and it's really, really fun. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Vahnatai Did Do It desperance.net - We're Everywhere The Arena - God Will Sort The Dead ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! The only game out right now that interests me is Prince of Persia.
