I AM THE LIZARD QUEEN. Do I get it in a bottle? I guess you'd have had to be Britney or something to get $2,000 for the commodity in question. Some people have more money than sense, and rather Victorian socio-sexual attitudes. Posts: 2333 | Registered: Monday, January 7 2002 08:00 |

Lol, someone's selling a photo of himself for use on a dartboard? That guy must have a lot of enemies... -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! Unfortunately, prices on ebay for most things are too high. I tried to buy furbies en masse of ebay to make a furby skin coat out of, but I couldn't get any appreciable quantity for a halfway reasonable price. -------------------- Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned I'll tell you my story, man Though I wish I'd never been born I'm loose at the seams, I've broken my dreams And my hand it shakes the pen Come on, come on now baby, Let the good times roll again Posts: 961 | Registered: Thursday, June 12 2003 07:00 |

You mean an RPG item? I know that there are people who professionally sell artifacts and other items for multi-player RPGs (Everquest, Ultima, etc.) for RL money. They make a lot of money, too... So maybe there are such things on ebay as well. -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! His Flashing eyes, his Floating hair!" S. T. Now that's a good way of making money off all those convert-crazy fundamentalist maniacs. I wonder, did any of you read "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" by Douglas Adams? There's something called an 'electric monk' in there, which has no other purpose than to believe in stuff for you... -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! Ah, the conversion auction was listed by a member of http://www.iidb.org/ It got taken, off though. I've heard rumours about someone auctioning off a fake restraining order in the very near future. Posts: 18 | Registered: Tuesday, August 26 2003 07:00 |

A good place to find these sort of auctions is: The Dark Side of Ebay LJ community. There are a few posts a day, usually. Posts: 30 | Registered: Tuesday, September 2 2003 07:00 |

Who knows, some devout fundie might bid in the first one to save the plastic Jesus! The second one is indeed a joke in very bad taste... -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! I forgot what it actually was. I just remember it was something dirty. Something about a ***** looking for a pimp or something? ...wow... there actually is a curseword eliminator here. I'd never have believed it otherwise... [ Saturday, September 06, 2003 07:00: Message edited by: Arancaytar ] -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! The curse word filter here is useless. At least the one on Desperance is used for a good purpose (the purpose of saving our eyes from the ravages of the receiver and assorted other pictures).
