Technically, I translated it from English to Latin in the first place. Problem is, online translators tend to be mildly unreliable. Which is why 'hairy tortoises affect whole health out of the world'.

However, I do know that Veritas means 'truth'.

EDIT: Okay, re-using the online translator, 'Veritas mos paro vos liberum' translates back into 'Truth will set you free'. It also translates into 'Truthfulness custom put you independent', but it essentially means the same thing. Still, I want the opinion of some who actually knows Latin on what that says.

That, and there's also the 1/10 contest and (possibly) the script contest.

EDIT: Would it be possible to list signatures in the Endeavor?

No kidding. Translating it back, it came out as:
quote:
hairy tortoises, whom intention ensnare human race! Its intention is to use its to ignore guide Drakefyre when slowly to drag we upon its secret army when to affect whole health out of the world , or or universe!
It was originally
quote:
hairy tortoises, whom intend to ensnare the human race! Their intention is to use their disguised leader Drakefyre to slowly pull us into their secret army to drain sanity out of the world, and eventually the universe!
I guess some of that got lost in translation.

As all participants probably know full well, the original topic was reaching lengths that would likely attract the wrath of the UBB. So to spare the original topic, I've created this one to continue the discussion of Dikiyoba's story.

Alright! I can't hide it anymore! There is a conspiracy! It's the pilosus tortoises, quos intentio decipio genus hominum! Suum intentio est utor suum dissimulo rector Drakefyre ut sensim traho nos in suum specialis exercitus ut adficio totus sanitas ex orbis terrarum, vel vel universum!

I must hide now, before they find me!

No. He just has more skill than Tullegolar. He didn't use any of his Administrator powers, did he? Tullegolar won because Drakefyre stopped short of killing him, and through a dirty trick at that.

If it was me, though, he wouldn't have gotten close. I wouldn't have offered him the chance.

I think I might make up a list of members, their alliances, and their powers and abilities. We'll see.

Yes, but it isn't till after I deliver a blow to the monster (thus causing BoA to check the monster's HP) that the glitch kicks in.

Unfortunately, I never got to the Ziggurat.

Surely you can mess around with the preferences to fix this. Have you tried anything? It would be useful for me to know if there are preferences you can select (like turning off Play Special Effects and Play Sounds) that improve the situation.
If you turn everything off, it improves slightly. But the problem comes in because of the sheer number of critters it has to handle at once, it just bogs down. And if you have a computer where combat already runs slow... well, you get the idea.

quote:
The health error doesn't come from monsters. It comes from the party.
That can't be right. The same party that exited Exodus did a bit of testing on Agadia Isle, which is of similar level requirements, and never hit the error.

quote:
Also, as much as everyone complained about this, in most cases, I didn't give monsters extra HP. That's just how much a level 80 monster has.
You probably know this already, but the HP bonus can be negative, should you want to reduce a monster class's max health.

It runs all the way up to ten seconds if I stand there for a while and let everyone summon at will, but that doesn't happen a lot.

This doesn't seem like a big deal to me — a ten second delay, at most, between turns — but some people claimed that this made the scenario unplayable. Is there something that I'm missing here?

There's more at play than just what the creatures do. If you have a slower computer, the wait times grow considerably. I usually had to wait anywhere from 1 to 3 minutes before my turn came around again. This happened in the River Fight, the Barbarian Camp, and the Berekh Hive, or any other large fights. Being used to waiting on my computer, it didn't really bother me that much.

Also, I think I figured out a way around the annoying health error, but it'll probably be far more work than it's worth. Basically, you turn down the critters' HP and crank up their resistances. However, you would have to go through everything to see if this move unbalanced any combat.
