I was stuck trying to find the 6th key until I read the walkthrough (Schrodinger's and Zeviz's Nethergate Page) where one is supposed to ask Rippel (in the Hollow Hills) about Weevil. How did I miss that clue? Is there someone I have forgotten to speak to? tia- K P.S. I'm doing this prior to the stone skull quest so that I have all keys before entering Goagh-Nar [ Thursday, July 20, 2006 08:33: Message edited by: KJMiller ] -------------------- kjmiller Posts: 8 | Registered: Monday, May 15 2006 07:00 |

So.. Tool Use for Celts must be one of the "???". Interesting.. thanks. Will work in the meantime beefing up those other attributes. k -------------------- kjmiller Posts: 8 | Registered: Monday, May 15 2006 07:00 |

I keep getting blown to bits by traps in the goblin fort and I suspect it's because my Tool Use isn't high enough. I know the Tool Use stat exists (instant help and tip boxes refer to it), but I can't find it listed anywhere when I bring up character info. Any ideas? Thanks! -------------------- kjmiller Posts: 8 | Registered: Monday, May 15 2006 07:00 |

Just finished the game (loved it), but I have a compulsion to leave no stone unturned - or door unlocked! There's a room in the Castle barracks (second floor, next door to the one with the reward lockers) that I was never able to get into. Was anyone else able to figure that one out? Thanks much- k -------------------- kjmiller Posts: 8 | Registered: Monday, May 15 2006 07:00 |

I thought it curious too, that for all its hype, its "value" was relatively low (only 1200? And of course, less at trade-in). No matter though I guess, as cash really isn't an issue by that point in the game.. -------------------- kjmiller Posts: 8 | Registered: Monday, May 15 2006 07:00 |

Thanks everyone! And yes, my oversight - I missed the "Spells/Stats" page... glad to know where it is now. -------------------- kjmiller Posts: 8 | Registered: Monday, May 15 2006 07:00 |

Sometimes when seeking to learn spells, the "trainer" seems want to charge me for ones I already know. That is, the option exists to pay them to "learn" (rather than just improve) a spell that the character already knows and has been using. At first I paid them (thinking I must be getting something for my money), but later I became skeptical. Anyone else run into this? I can come back with specific examples if that would be helpful. Related comment.. it would be great to have a counter (like for the other stats) that indicates how much knowledge each character has wrt the different spells. (One could see the effect of and keep track of improvements). -------------------- kjmiller Posts: 8 | Registered: Monday, May 15 2006 07:00 |
