Where can I get an up-to-date version of Canopy? I'd like to be able to proceed from the catacombs while I still remember the name of the guy I just killed with the laser beam. Oops. Already forgot.

It doesn't make sense for Ithik to tell you that the first passage leads to a place you can rest. He should tell you it leads back to the GP, which is a better place to rest from both a role-playing point of view and a game playing point of view (because you can fence your loot there). That is, unless he knows about the cavein but is hiding that fact from you.

Even worse, since my party has already found the cavein, we should be able to tell Ithik about it. We should also be able to ask him what he found when he ransacked the DG's office. There are a few other questions I'd like to ask him as well.

Ithik told me about two secret passages. One is supposed to lead from the DG's office to the GP. I looked all over the DG's office, and all I found was a passage I could rest in. Since the gates reset (why do the guys at spidweb think that all doors should reset when you leave a level?) I have no way back to the GP.

I actually knew a bit of Bahssikavan but not enough apparently. Perhaps the following:

1 point: blow up controls and disable laser

Thanks, Dragyn. That worked for me. For the benefit of any else trying this, click "advanced features -> set stuff done flag" and then three text boxes will pop up (one at a time). Enter 14 in the first, 10 in the second, and 0 in the third. Repeat the process but enter 250, 2, and then 2 in the text boxes. Don't forget to save your changes.

Blocked in Bahssikava in Blades of Avernum

I'm under Khar-Grav, which is supposed to be a good place to diminish the big cheese demon lord's power. Unfortunately the first hallway is blocked by a laser beam. I can't walk through it. No energy damage, the game just doesn't let me go there. I cast true sight and there are no other exits from the first room except the ladder back up.

After killing Zauberer I get a t8while loop without closing right bracket error, and I can see through walls (even after reloading), but I can't exit the catacombs.

Can anyone help me find the 9th emblem? Is it in the passage behind the deis where I fought the winged black meany? How do I get through there?

D'oh. It didn't occur to me that scry was a combat spell, but I should have realized that some of the others were. I also see that the "leave scenario" tool has an activation button in town mode (in v1.0.3 at least).

Major problems in v1.0.2.

1. There are a bunch of new items that call themselves wands but have no activation button. Are there instructions somewhere on how to use them?

2. The bartender says there is a secret entrance around the NW corner of the starting town. I can't find it.

3. After fighting the bugbears' black demon statue, I still have only 8 emblems. Casting mj shows a secret passage behind the deis, but I can't enter it.

Minor problems in v1.0.2:

1. I didn't notice anything clever or witty about the so-called "quip" in the starting room's chest.

2. Before you free the tiger you can't enter their lair, but you can id the entrance with the look command.

Is there a list of bug-fixes for v1.0.3?
