I know this is a bit off topic as it's not about a spiderweb game, but there are more mac gamers here than anywhere else I know of. My problem is with Tropico Mucho Macho... I believe it is corrupting my emac on system 10.3.9. Have any of you had these types of problems or possibly know of a tropico site for macs? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -------------------- “Where did this apple come from?” --Alan Turing Posts: 49 | Registered: Wednesday, August 13 2003 07:00 |

Are we really into the third geneforge game without those friendly talking spiders? Is there any way to delete your saves and start with a clean slate with out doing a reinstall? It seems that the first time I played the basement I came out with 4 spells. You start with minor heal and firebolt, and I found war blessing, but it seems that I found cure effects somewhere down there? Is there anyway to change my players name or colors after I start? I went to Green, to follow my politics and find I sometimes don't notice that I am poisoned. I'd hoped my hintbook would be in mail today, but it didn't show. It will look so good on my shelf with all the others since Exile 1. A note to other first-timers, get the hintbook as Sir Vogel's games are so complicated they are almost impossible to play without them. -------------------- “Where did this apple come from?” --Alan Turing Posts: 49 | Registered: Wednesday, August 13 2003 07:00 |

I've gone back and read many of the posts since this board started and realize that my middle of the road strategy just will not cut it like in GF 2. My question here is at what point do I have to make a final decision on which side to support? If I play the middle as long as possible I can get those small quests from both sides easily. Early in the game they are great point boosters at those times when the points for the monsters have dropped to lower levels. So, how long can I juggle the sides or should I pick a side at the start and go for it. -------------------- “Where did this apple come from?” --Alan Turing Posts: 49 | Registered: Wednesday, August 13 2003 07:00 |

Thanks, I am just starting this new game and it looks like it would be a pain to carry and waste the slot. Here's part 2, if I play the rebellion side, will I still be able to come back and get the stones added? I figure at my rate of skill building, I will need to jump back after about 3 islands. -------------------- “Where did this apple come from?” --Alan Turing Posts: 49 | Registered: Wednesday, August 13 2003 07:00 |

I passed the finals at the testing grounds and got my no stone ring, (soon to be 5 stone ring.) Should I lug it around with me from island to island in hopes of another place to test the sucker or leave it there on the floor outside that dread door? I tried to forge a stone onto it and it's not allowed... Just wondering? -------------------- “Where did this apple come from?” --Alan Turing Posts: 49 | Registered: Wednesday, August 13 2003 07:00 |

I think A2 was the last game I saw there, I guess I should look at the cds a bit closer... Also, it's a lot quicker to get a demo off a cd than off these phone lines here in New Orleans... They don’t call this place a third world country for nothing... also aswell -------------------- “Where did this apple come from?” --Alan Turing Posts: 49 | Registered: Wednesday, August 13 2003 07:00 |

What’s up with MacAddict these days... At one time whenever spiderweb came out with a new game the Demo was always in MacAddict magazine cd...I always got hooked and bought whatever, usually... But it’s been a while since I saw a Demo there. Spiderweb puts out great games and MadAddict is one of the best places to put out the word on new action. What is going on? Should Spiderweb fans start a campaign to get the demos going again or what... also aswell -------------------- “Where did this apple come from?” --Alan Turing Posts: 49 | Registered: Wednesday, August 13 2003 07:00 |
