Eh, I'm waiting for about four more reports.
Then, horay, I can resend with all the wonderful adjustments, and hopefully then I'll be ready to release it.

Most likely, they've sent the reports and hotmail decided not to give me the email. I hate hotmail.

EDIT: Betatesters: If you haven't sent in your reports and things, please do it by tomorrow or the next day. I want to get it polished up to resend.

If you really want to know... well, if you do really want to know, it'll be good suspense not to tell you. :P

Also, Morgan, I didn't get your report (I do so hate Hotmail). Horay for AIM, though.

It's okay: I just recieved it. Thanks.

Okay, this is stupid. I haven't gotten Morgan's yet now. I don't understand why, but I haven't. I hate hotmail.

I sent it through hotmail, so it's strange that I didn't recieve it. I don't know what's wrong.

Try sending it here: jdomain@drowntheday.com .

I've just finished designing (and testing, mind you) a small scenario—smallest so far: two towns. Eh, but it has a plot, so it basically automatically beats any of my BoE scenarios. I'd recommend a level 8-10 party.

Anyway, if you are interested, I just need:

Your Name
Your Email
and
Your Platform (Win, Mac, etc).

I probably only need 6 or so. Thanks.

Ok. So, how would I use an SDF to allow someone to open a door, when they already cannot? That's the part I don't understand. Now.

But doesn't memory cell 0 set the difficulty of unlocking a door: 0 is unlocked, and any higher is locked? Thus, changing it to 0 would allow someone to enter it without having to unlock it, correct?

I don't see how I'd implement an SDF with it.

Here's the immediate surrounding code, anyway:

set_flag(5,1,2);
set_flag(5,0,1);
message_dialog("You should probably head back to your room at the inn.","");
set_terrain_memory_cell(8,0,0);
block_entry(1);
end();

I can't seem to get set_terrain_memory_cell to work. The code for it I put in is

set_terrain_memory_cell(8,0,0);

Yet, when I try the door that has terrain script eight, memory cell 0's value doesn't change to zero, so I can't get in. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Yes, but some, like viruses, are bad.

I guess I should rephrase that. I hold you below the scum of the earth. The bad scum.
