FYI: The true power of the Master is only revealed at the end of Quests of the Spheres. If you pay close attention while in the mind of the Master, you'll note he was trained by Erika, and knew he surpassed her abilities before she released him. -------------------- All that we see, or seem, is but a dream within a dream. Yeah, but San-Racku's a gigantic demon that can take on 50 dragons. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

I voted for the Master. Again, all it takes to beat San-Racku is to wake up. -------------------- * Posts: 6936 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Ok let me clarify something. We are voting characters here. That means that if you vote for san-racku, you are voting for a character as powerful as one portrayed in a dream. After all, none of these guys are "real" they are all figments of the designers imaginations. Forget that san-racku is a dream character. After all, if he kills you, you die in real life. -------------------- "Violence never solved anything except ending slavery, fascism and communism." Wasn't the Master also trapped in his own mind or something? That would make him especially vulnerable to San-Racku, wouldn't you say? Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Doesn't matter. You can say "The Master" and "San-Racku" without dying, and that's why Sovereign wins. :P -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: More fun than a kick in the shins! Posts: 567 | Registered: Friday, October 5 2001 07:00 |

Oh, please. I said "Kaleb," "Sajon" and "Sovereign" to half of the NPCs in FS. :P -------------------- * Posts: 6936 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Somehow, I don't think "The master" is his actual name. -------------------- Learn from others mistakes. Its safer and more entertaining than learning on your own. Posts: 100 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

quote:His real name is inferred in QoS IF you pay close attention to his memories. I was going to include this as a bonus question in QoS, but decided it was too obscure. As no one has ever even asked until now, I think I was right. -------------------- All that we see, or seem, is but a dream within a dream. ...odds on Soverign being eventual winner are 1:5, San-Racku 7:1, The Master 190:1, and Rentar-Ihrno 1000:1...place your bets folks, place your bets... Anyway, I voted for Soverign and San-Racku. Because, not owning a copy of BoE, I have to vote on knowledge gleaned from reviews and mentions by other people. I voted Soverign because *anybody* can beat Rentar-Ihrno, and I voted San-Racku because he/she/it has a cooler-sounding name. I still think Soverign will win. ...place your bets folks, place your bets... -------------------- ~Note : The professional newbie's advice should not be taken seriously, or at all.~ LINKAGE Posts: 364 | Registered: Saturday, January 17 2004 08:00 |
