Yes. Take some clear plastic, draw a grid on it, and tape it to your monitor. Other than that, no. Don't worry, you get used to it eventually. EDIT: Oh, wait. I see what you're saying. Underneath the clickable terrains, the (X,Y) coordinates of the tile at the center of the display are displayed. And if you're having trouble finding the center, press 5 on the numpad. -------------------- The biggest, the baddest, and the fattest. Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

You tried that? :D Anyway, I think there should be an easier way of knowing the coordinates to a certain square than carefully centering it in the screen. That seems to take forever. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

you could always simply COUNT from where you are centered. -------------------- He who giggles for joy everytime he hears the talking skulls voice. Posts: 31 | Registered: Sunday, February 13 2005 08:00 |

The grid is 9x9. It shouldn't be too hard. If you're having trouble, place an item on a space and then edit it - it will tell you the coordinates. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! quote:Yeah, that's what I do. I was just commenting on how much easier it would be to have the coordinates change in relation to where the cursor is instead of the center of the screen. Oh well, I guess there's no point in whining about it, though. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |
