I am currently using the 2 script cheats for Geneforge 3 that shows on top of the screen for Geneforge series(Geneforge 3 Resources) The g2southend and the gf3itemchar ones. After you use it, everything you create moves at extremely fast speeds. Including friendly nearby oinks. How do you reverse this effect? I don't want my creations moving 50x faster than I am.

Thanks

(Edit: I tried removing the new scripts and replaced with the old ones, didn't help)

Hmm, with the old scripts...new one now should be normal speed.

If you can, you could try making yourself faster.

I think I remember this coming up before, but unfortunately I don't remember enough about it to be able to find it.

And since replacing the old scripts didn't help, this probably won't help, but if no one else has any advice, try searching for cr_walk_speed in the gf3itemchar scripts to see if there is any usually high number following it. The normal speed should (Dikiyoba thinks) be 24 for everything but serviles, ornks, and immobile creations like turrets.

yes, the speed should indeed be exactly 24, just for immobile ones it is 0 and for serviles and ornks it is 14 i believe.
Have you really deleted the edited scripts and brought back the new ones in their place? If so, try starting the game over, this would have to help. If it doesn't redownload the game. That's always an option!

I tried all of these. There isn't an number higher than 24. I tried reinstalling the game but it still won't work. When I start a new game, the creations speed is normal, but when i start my saved game, the creations speed is still faast.

Yes, that's why you should forget the saved game and start anew - it happened to me once, when i edited a couple of scripts and i got stuck and even when i replaced the old scripts it didn't fix the problem - i guess some things are written directly into the saved game files.
In my experience you'll have to start anew - since you only reached south end you shouldn't be very far.
And let that be a lesson: Don't cheat!
The game deserves at least one try at it without changing anything.

I found some high cr walk speeds. They were 100's. I changed all of them back to 24. The creatures I currently have still walk fast though.

So have you tried removing the game, then installing a new G1?
If that doesn't work, try using a different computer.

Ack. This question was about G3, Muffin, not G1. Plus, the question has already been answered. Please read and think carefully when giving advice.

I was convinced that it was G1. The fact that it is G3, really explains things.

Edit -and occording to him, there is still a problem.

Your creations' statistics, including walk speed, are saved in your save file, so they're preserved even if you change the creature scripts. The only way to get creations with a normal walk speed is to absorb them and make new ones.

Thuryl is right. I had this same problem once, and after repairing the scripts my creations still moved fast. Absorbing and remaking them fixed it.

That post didn't make sense. The first line isn't a sentence (or a coherent thought), and there's no reason that I can see to lock this thread.

Please stop posting things that don't make sense or don't need to be said. I don't mean to be harsh, but try a little harder. I think you can get the hang of this.
