Go check out Schrodinger (Matt P)'s GameFAQ G3 walkthrough in the forum header. It should help answer a lot of your questions. And no, Dikiyoba doesn't think you ever need rope. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

No matter my character class, I find mechanics to be quite useful, especially against those mines you mentioned; a level or two of Unlock wouldn't hurt either, to help with doors and such. As for health, it's always a good idea to have a little more than you think you'll need, for surviving both melee and mines. I also recommend you get the Augmentation and Essence Shield/Armor spells, which will definitely help you live longer. Unfortunately, I've never heard of the cake cheat, so I can't help you there. -------------------- Either I'm crazy, or everybody else is nuts. Hang onto them. You need artifacts more than you need money. You can probably sell stuff that's just used for making wands and things, though, unless you really like wands. Leave the area, make some creations, come back, and kill the roamers. Since I normally play as a Shaper, this works best for me, especially when I have to do a lot of melee. quote:If you are talking about exploding roamers, make sure you kill them with ranged weapons and attacks. A trick that works particularly well is to enter combat as soon as you see one approaching, kill him, and end combat right away, before his friends show up. PS Don't worry about this topic being closed. That happens only if the topic is a repeat of an exactly same question asked in another active thread, or if it gets spammed to death. -------------------- Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword, For it too has the power to kill. I forgot about exploding roamers. And you're right, they're best killed from a distance, unless you like to take unnecessary damage. Here's another (admittedly slightly dangerous) trick: Make them explode in a chain reaction. Get some of them to bunch together, move out of explosive range, and shoot. Every exploding roamer in the blast radius will also explode, which in turn cause any others within range of those explosions to blow up as well. Using this method, I've been known to kill as many as 10 to 15 with a single shot. The only downside of this is that you can get surrounded. I love how they can blow themselves up in a chain like that. I try that all the time. Usually results in maiming and/or death. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. Yes, it's nice that they blow themselves up in a nice neat chain like that, especially because you can (potentially) get a lot of experience for very little effort. As for getting hurt or killed a lot setting off the explosion chains, you just need to excercise a bit more caution, and you'll usually be fine. -------------------- Either I'm crazy, or everybody else is nuts.
