Hello all... I did a search for this but didn't find anything. How can I take screenshots in the Geneforge games? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, narpet -------------------- May all your hits be crits! Posts: 23 | Registered: Friday, March 10 2006 08:00 |

For Mac or Windows? If it's Windows, there's probably a button on your keyboard somewhere--"Prnt Scrn" or something similar. Dikiyoba does remember this question being asked before, but it was so long ago and the search feature is so bad it's not surprising it can't be found. I'm running it on Windows... I tried print screen but I have no idea where it would put the screenshot. I looked in the directory where geneforge is installed but found nothing. I can't find any reference to it in the documentation either. Any ideas?? Thanks, narpet -------------------- May all your hits be crits! Posts: 23 | Registered: Friday, March 10 2006 08:00 |

It's not saved automatically. It's copied to your clipboard, so go paste it in Paint or something to see it. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Got it... that worked, and I shoulda known... that's a bit embarrasing considering I've been a programmer for about 18 years. ;) Thanks for the quick response! narpet -------------------- May all your hits be crits! Posts: 23 | Registered: Friday, March 10 2006 08:00 |

Recently I came across an application where pressing the "Print Scrn" key actually physically printed the current screen. You could have knocked me down with a feather. -------------------- "I can't read this thread with that image. But then, that's not a complaint." -Scorpius Geneforge 4 stuff. How to take screenshots. Ach, I didn't notice how old this topic is. My excuse is that it had already been revived, and this is such a common question that a link to the most obvious source of such information is good to have in any case. That shows just how useful Wikipedia is. I even found an article about Blades of Avernum on there. -------------------- WWJD? Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

No kidding?! Wow, there are some pages for the other Spiderweb games too! You'd almost think they were "notable"! (I'm kidding though.
