Archmagi Micael: PC's are clunky, slow, mad ,idiotic, are all white (Mac's vary in colour) and are absolutely useless. quote:Not true. My PC is far from being white. It's a solid black metal case with blue neon tubes that flash when they detect sound, red/blue lasers shooting from the corners of the side fan, and 2 fans in the back with blacklight bases and glowing green blades. :) quote:Again, not true. Mine is cranking out 5.3 Ghz, with 1 GB RAM to back it. Hardly slow... [ Wednesday, May 18, 2005 11:16: Message edited by: xixao ] Posts: 80 | Registered: Wednesday, September 29 2004 07:00 |

We have. I've been mindwiped. :D tell me off for reviving - what was it again?????? ;) Sorry for insulting the "you-know what, I don't know what" I was just over- implying that Apple is 1 step ahead in 75% of computer stuff. I don't see "you-know what, I don't know what" with a computer the size of my head (iCube, was it called)... Take me back to the amnesia machine, I have residual memories  ;) [ Thursday, May 19, 2005 07:31: Message edited by: JadeWolf ] -------------------- How many shapers are there? Are you running the RealArcade version? If so, the trainer won't work. Otherwise, start the trainer, then start G2. Load your game, or start a new one, Alt+Tab to the trainer, set the cheats you want to use, Alt+Tab back to the game. Posts: 80 | Registered: Wednesday, September 29 2004 07:00 |

Yes, darn it! No way around that? I can't exactly get the regular Geneforge game without paying for it AGAIN. Man- that sucks! Nijojo Posts: 34 | Registered: Friday, November 19 2004 08:00 |

I've tried to create a version of the trainer that modifies RealArcade, and even though the trainer shows that memory values have changed, the game doesn't recognize the changes. It's a problem I haven't yet found a solution to. Sorry. [EDIT] If you still want to give the trainer a try, it works with the demo version from Spiderweb's site. It may not be the full version, but you'll still be able to use the cheats. [ Monday, May 23, 2005 03:22: Message edited by: xixao ] Posts: 80 | Registered: Wednesday, September 29 2004 07:00 |

quote:yes there is a way around it you download the demo from spidweb you start a new game use the trainer and save quite and take the save file from that and replace it in your registered one do it I was told it works -------------------- Why are you reading this ? That's right. I had forgotten that trick. Just place the saved game that you used the trainer on (the demo version) in place of your saved game from RealArcade. When you load it later, the changes you made will hold. You won't, however, be able to use features like God-mode or unlimited skill points. Yea. Hook your guys up, drop the file over to RealArcade. When you need a "recharge", shoot it back to the demo and hit the trainer again. Posts: 80 | Registered: Wednesday, September 29 2004 07:00 |

It seems the editor advertized here is no longer available. However, you can still use Hawk King's editor: The editor itself: http://www.geocities.com/hawkkingsdomain/Editors/z0entrydlg.txt The discussion of it: http://www.ironycentral.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=16;t=000813;p=1 PS To use this editor: 1. Back up the Data > Scripts subfolder of your Geneforge2 folder. 2. Replace the z0entrydlg.txt file in Geneforge2 > Data > Scripts folder with the file linked above. 3. Start the game and read the obelisk in the center of Entry Valley. -------------------- Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword, For it too has the power to kill. However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword, Can also have the power to heal. Posts: 2649 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Topic revival is bearable, as is triple posting, so long as they are separate. But together they are extra terrible. [ Tuesday, October 04, 2005 15:52: Message edited by: Eldibs ] -------------------- "We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are short, some are dull, some are sharp, some are tall. Some have funny names and they are all different colors, but they all learn to live in the same box." "Happy is the man that has wisdom and gets discernment. The last post in this topic before you posted in it was in July. It is now October. You posted in a topic that has not been posted in for a long time, and you posted multiple times in a row. Both of these things are considered poor form here. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
