This topic has definitely come up a lot, and TM was nice enough to give us a nice little chart on the topic. Discuss. -------------------- TM: "I want BoA to grow. So is Emerald Mountain. The chart is hard to decipher though. I love the footnote in there. [ Sunday, February 03, 2008 10:24: Message edited by: Excalibur ] -------------------- Drew - "Coincidence, correlation, or causation, I wonder?" Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

Yes, A Large Rebellion is incredibly buggy, to the point where Dikiyoba could not finish it. -------------------- Episode 4: Spiderweb Reloaded Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Has anyone finished it? I was incapable of passing the second town. -------------------- Drew - "Coincidence, correlation, or causation, I wonder?" Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

You need to not use the version of A Large Rebellion that's on Spiderweb. Instead, grab the one from Shadowvale - it's an unholy hybrid of 1.1.2 and 1.1.5 that I put together, but it's (theoretically) finishable, unlike the 1.1.5 on Spidweb. I think. You might have to tool around with some scripts yourself, depending, but it's most of the way there... Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Which is the reason I've never played it. The closest I've come to playing one of the 'horrors' was Undead Valley, in which I only played the first town. If you have to tool around with scripts to play a scenario, it's never worth it. -------------------- Enraged Slith's Blades of Avernum Website Look out, there's a three-headed monkey behind you! I remember having to change something in the .bas file and having to meddle with one or two scripts. That was SV's version, by the way. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Co-designed with Nikki: El Presidente.
