Will it be really hard for me to learn how to make my own scenario on BoA big or small if I have never done it before on BoE or will it be easy to learn.

BoE is very intuitive. As long as you can stick with your scenario, you can make oen without too much trouble. It may not win accolades from all who play it, but it will be decent.

BoA has more complicated scripts. I'm not sure if you have to dig into the coding or not. If you do, it will be significantly harder to make a scenario. The engine is different enough that it will probably help only moderately to have worked with BoE.

—Alorael, who suspects that experience with designing anything will be the most useful. The key is having enough willingness to experiment with the editor and enough dedication not to drop your project halfway through.

Alright heres a concept. Say for a scenario that I might make you would start off in your own little room. Right when you are about the door a (special encounter) says that the fort is being under attack and when you walk outside there is a horde of goblins that are attacking. This im pretty sure can be done but will I need to have some programmer know-how to do it or will there be certain tabs for these (special encounters).

Im asking all these questions because I have a really great idea for a scenario to make when BoA comes out. So thank you for the feedback. :D :D

Oh ya and is there a capability to make that video sequence that appears when you confirm the party you make in Avernum 3??

The answer to this is yes- you can put cutscenes anywhere into your scenario, and according to Stareye, it's much easier to do in BoA than it is in BoE.
For people like myself, this is a tremendous relief.

I don't know, I find BoA to be much more intuitive and easy than BoE - what gets me to most is the different heights and making my outdoors look right.

Heh. That's good that cutscenes will be allowed. It will be a great replacement of the dialog boxes we had to use in BoE to describe a long sequence of events.

I personally don't like them much, lets admit it, they are kinda annoying during game play... standable at the start and end of the senario though,
