All right, we still need more people to take a little time to look through the utilities and rate them. It should not take more than a couple hours or so. Anyone is eligible to judge. Just don't review your own utility. So volunteers? Scores are due by Friday, January 19, 2007. All right, I'll participate. I've already tried most utilities, so it shouldn't take too long. Posts: 363 | Registered: Wednesday, February 22 2006 08:00 |

I'm almost done. I've got two questions, however : 1)Does anyone know if getting Alint not to display all of the bugs at once is possible? I can only see the last bugs displayed; not the first ones. 2)Where am I supposed to post since the judging forum was destroyed? Oh, and by the way, I can't test Niemand's Graphics Adjuster, since I only use a PC. I did like the color shifts in Echoes : Renegade, but I don't think that'd be enough to 'judge' it. Thank you, Lazarus. (The whole Alint thing, BTW, is because I may rate it differently depending on how my question is answered.) Posts: 363 | Registered: Wednesday, February 22 2006 08:00 |

Surely there is some way to scroll over your command-line stuff on Windows? Mac-Alint is better. It shows up in a window, doesn't require the command line, etc. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. If I recall correctly, just typing alint in the command prompt prints out the list of flags. There might be something like 'non-verbose' or something. Just wait 'til next contest; astring will blow away the competition. ;) -------------------- C is quirky, flawed, and an enormous success. - Dennis M. quote:If there is, I'd sure like to know how. I tried everything I could think of, even using Scroll Lock on my keyboard, nothing works. There is a workaround -using alint to 'scan' each file one by one-, but it's kind of painful. Oh well, it's not going to affect the rating I will give it *that* much. A little, but not much. :P Posts: 363 | Registered: Wednesday, February 22 2006 08:00 |

Assuming you're using cmd.exe, it has a scrollbar on the right-hand side of the window, which you use just like any other. If it doesn't let you scroll up far enough, go to the defaults or properties menu and increase the number of scrollback lines in the Layout tab (I think) -------------------- Barcoorah: I even did it to a big dorset ram. desperance.net - Don't follow this link Posts: 1798 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Thanks Khoth, it works (I wasn't using cmd). I should be sending my comments in the next few minutes, and I'll be rating alint a bit higher. ;) EDIT : Sent. [ Sunday, January 14, 2007 08:31: Message edited by: The Lurker ] Posts: 363 | Registered: Wednesday, February 22 2006 08:00 |

Comments are technically due by tonight. I won't have time to look at them until Sunday, so please get them in by then. Thanks. PS: The number of scores we have is low, we NEED more. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |
