Meh, depends on the day, and even then, the time. I'll be gone the 26th and 27th. I'd use my laptop, but for some reason I have trouble gaining access to local wireless networks. Something about requiring a password that I don't have. Plus I have work most of the time when I'm in town. Is there a fundamental issue preventing you from getting AIM, GAIM, Trillian, etc.? These programs are fairly standard and there are lots of clients out there to suit your needs. I want these chats to be as inclusive as possible, and IM clients are quite common and widely used these days. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Do you have Jabber? There are gateway servers that can log in to AIM for you (you still need to create an AIM account for that), and which will send your messages into the AIM network. But in all seriousness, if you don't have that, it's infinitely less bother to just submit to the great evil and create an account. If your OS allows it, you should then get Trillian (for Windows) or gaim (for Linux). For Mac, I think there is only the (unfortunately ad-infested) standard client.
