Script only applies to scenarios, so you can't script anything that would happen before starting a scenario. You could create a short scenario that gave items, though. OHHHH, you mean the original thing that was named "Tutorial" on my machine. Just a little sidenote: you're not allowed to modify VoDT, ASR, ZKR, or DWD. No remaning, adding extra items, placing extra specials.
